                                        TODAY AT GRACE

TODAY WE WELCOME Rev. Scott Crane to our worship service. Pastor
Scott will lead both our morning and evening service. Our
MINISTRY OF MUSIC today is presented by Mr. Glen Williams. Glen is
a fellow worker of Paul Kerkstra at the Veterans Facility. Thanks to
all for being with us today!

CHILDREN & WORSHIP
All Children will meet together through the summer
months in the Fellowship Hall. Worship Leaders this week
are Judy Beadle and Tymie Boeve. 

                                CALENDAR OF THE WEEK

                   Crocodile Dock VBS coming this week!
        Each day from 6:30 – 9:00 pm for Preschool – 5th Grade!

VBS WORKERS – Please be here Monday by 6:15 pm. Crew Leaders
report to the sanctuary for last minute instruction and supplies. All
others report to your areas.

**If you have not received an iron-on for your shirt,
please pick one up from the narthex table today!

THURSDAY, JUNE 11, 2009
4:30 PM PRAYER GROUP meets in Pastor Rick’s office. We invite
YOU to join us. You do not have to pray out loud. Just come!

NEXT SUNDAY come and experience Crocodile Dock for yourselves!
Come and hear music and see the decorations. Pastor Rick will share
the message.

HEALTH CONCERNS –Roger Vander Sloot was expected to return home
following knee surgery last Tuesday. See Prayers & Praise Line for
all prayer requests and praise reports.

         MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS


COOKIES & COFFEE/PUNCH will be served on the patio following the
morning service! If you would be willing to make cookies for this
fellowship time, please sign up in the narthex.

MISSION/OUTREACH TEAM will meet on Tuesday, June 23 at 7:00 pm.

CHURCH PICNIC – DEADLINE FOR RESERVATIONS for the church picnic is
next Sunday, June 14! Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm. See the
insert in your bulletin today for all the details and reserve your spot.

CHOIR MEMBERS – SAVE THE DATE! The annual choir picnic will be held
at Paul’s cottage on Saturday, August 8. Come anytime after 1:00 pm
with dinner at 5:00 pm. Mark you calendar!

THE SPECIAL OFFERING FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE is designated for the
GRACE BUILDING FUND. Our goal is to raise $120,000.00. This
offering will be received on June 28th.

VBS FOOD DONATIONS – If you have not brought your food donations to
the church kitchen, please do so by tomorrow afternoon. See Tymie
Boeve if you have any questions.

The Prayer and Praise Line is a way to let our Grace Congregation
know about your prayer needs and praise reports.

     Watch for these weekly prayer updates regarding the
              possibility of a new church start.

Pray for God’s timing as we seek to make a decision by this fall.

• Opportunities to reach the neighborhood children this week
• Those who have helped in so many ways to prepare for the upcoming
week of VBS

• The Prayer Walks taking place in our community
• VBS this week and strength and energy for all the volunteers
• Rick & Laura Marshall as they wait on the Ethiopian court
• Christy Kleymeer following surgery
• Al Grimm as he regains his health and strength at home
• Roger Vander Sloot following knee surgery
• Mary Jo Ryner, sister of Anna Borkowski, broke her foot while here visiting from Kentucky
• April, daughter of Bob & Terri Stadt, as she struggles with a mental illness
• Gretchen Stauffer, daughter of Jane Duthler, who is undergoing
treatment for lung cancer
• Wilma Osterink as her cancer has returned ~ She will be entering hospice care
