Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with Worship

11:20 – 12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes available for all
ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Post High and High School Sunday School Class will meet at the
Crossing with Pastor Rick.
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.

HEALTH CONCERNS – Willie Hiemstra is at home following eye surgery.
Bob Ver Merris will undergo surgery tomorrow at the Meijer Heart
Center at Spectrum Downtown. See the Prayers & Praise Line for all
prayer concerns & praise reports.
CLUB 3:16 PRAYERS & PRAISE
A special thank you to Sandy Farris for helping out with the Middle School overnighter.
The Club 3:16 Elementary group just finished a six week devotion on Elisha and Elijah and will be
starting a seven week devotion on “The Armor of God” which will begin Nov. 6th.
A special thank you to Donna Oppenhuizen for teaching on Elisha and Elijah at Club!
We look forward to raking Lucille Sytsema’s yard in November…thanks for allowing us to be a
blessing to you.
Club kids are in need of shovels, rakes, and other yard tools for the upcoming Community Service
Projects. Please donate items to this great cause. Items can be left in Kia’s office at church.

BIRTHDAY OPEN HOUSE – The Grace congregation is invited to a
celebration in honor of ANN HOEZEE’S 90th Birthday. The open house

following the morning service. Election of Elder & Deacons will be
held, the proposed budget will be presented and other church
business will be discussed.
MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS
NEEDED: The Facilities Committee is looking for someone interested in
a SNOW SHOVELING JOB here at church this winter. You would be
responsible for keeping the walkways clear on Sunday’s and other
meeting days during the winter season. See or call Neal Klein if
interested (532-5912).
THE HOLIDAYS ARE FAST APPROACHING! Once again we are providing
opportunities for you to help those in need!
Participate by buying gifts for the 4th Annual Wyoming Christmas Store. This store is set up for low
income families of the neighborhood. Parents are able to purchase gifts for their children at ¼ the cost.
Our Christmas tree is set up and there are 80 tags on it that need to be filled. Check your mailbox for all
the details and pick up a couple tags from the tree!
Help by purchasing gifts for the “Being the Hands” program that we are once again setting up at
DeVos Children’s Hospital. We are in need of gifts for older youth and adults. Gifts of any amount are
appreciated. Bring these gifts to Shari’s office. Again, details are in your mailbox.
THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of November and for
Thanksgiving Day is designated for the FAMILY NETWORK OF
WYOMING FOOD PANTRY. In addition to the food pantry, Family
Network offers many other services to the Wyoming community.
NEWHALL COMMUNITY CHURCH invites retirees, seniors and friends to a
special event on Monday, November 17. Judge Sara Smolenski who
serves as Judge for the 63rd District Court will share some of her
experiences with the group that morning. There will be a time for
conversation and fellowship beginning at 9:45 am followed by Judge
Smolenski’s presentation at 10:30 am. There will be a time for
questions afterward. Newhall Community Church is located at
3746 Byron Center Ave.
