 CHILDREN & WORSHIP
 Children ages 3 & 4 years meet in Room 1 in the Discovery
 Kids hallway with Worship Leader Heather Dood. 
 Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
 Worship Leaders Lynda Ver Merris and Amy Grimm. 
 You will be dismissed during the offering time. 
 
THE BELONGING (New Members Class) will meet in Pastor Rick’s office
 during the Sunday School hour.
 
11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes
 available for all ages three years old and upward.  A nursery is
 available for those children under the age of three. 
 
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
 Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room.  Join
 them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
 Spiritual Warfare in the Old Testament – Brad Class will lead this  
 group in the Chapel. 
 You Were Shaped For Serving God – Taken from the 40 Days of
 Purpose materials, this Dood/Zondervan Bible Study Group will
 meet in the main room at The Crossing. 
 
OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC THIS MORNING is presented by Shari Dood and
 Nikki Probst.  We thank you for your testimony in song today!
 
ALASKA CHALLENGE MEETING – More persons are welcome to join the
 group going to Alaska July 21-31, 2007 for the Spiritual  &
 Leadership Development trip.  The second informational meeting
 will be held today in Nikki’s office during the Sunday School hour.
 Contact Shari Dood or Ray & Robin Zondervan for more information.
 
SUNDAY’S AT SIX - Join us in the CHAPEL for the evening worship
 service.  A time of discussion will follow the message.

HEALTH CONCERNS –Curt Boes underwent heart bi-pass surgery on
 Tuesday.  He continues at the Meijer Heart Center at Spectrum
 Downtown.  See the Prayers & Praise Line today for all the Prayer
 Requests and Praise Reports.
 
IN APPRECIATION –It is amazing to me how much has transpired in the
 last 2 years (from my knee surgery and other things).  Thank you
 Grace family for your love and support during this time of

 and go as you wish.  Bring along a snack to share!
 
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2006
 9:00 AM COUNTY WIDE FOOD DRIVE –More adults and youth are
 needed to be part of a carload to pick up food donations in
 our neighborhood…both drivers and runners (or walkers).  A
 sign up is in the narthex.  The fun begins with a Praise Rally
 in the sanctuary at 9:00 am.  Following the Rally, cars go out
 to get the food. Then volunteers sort & box the food for the
 pantries. Most of the work is done by 1:00 pm, but feel free to
 pick your own hours to work.
 
 NEXT SUNDAY – OCTOBER 15, 2006
 
NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue with the series Core Values for
 Church and Life with the message “The Standard of Spiritual Gifts” ~
 I am Gifted for the Kingdom. 
 
SUNDAYS AT SIX – Pastor Rick will share the message “Babel-On” from
 the series Where Sin and Sacred Meet.  Discussion will follow the
 message.

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
WOMEN OF GRACE – You are invited to attend the THRIVE! Simulcast to
 be held Saturday, November 4 from 9 – 5 at Brightside Community
 Church in Caledonia.  Set aside one day for this unforgettable
 women’s conference and learn how to be intentional in your
 relationships.  By making time for the connections that refill and
 refresh you, you’ll be equipped to thrive in all your
 relationships!  We will meet at church and all go together.  Cost is
 $25.00 per person which includes morning refreshments and lunch.

CLUB 3:16 WISH LIST – A wish list of items for Club 3:16 is posted on
 the bulletin boards and also on a flyer in the narthex.  If you can
 donate any of these items, or if you have any questions, see Nikki or
 email her at nikki@gracewyoming.org.  Thanks! 
 
THE GEMS are doing OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD this year as a service
 project.  We are in need of shoe boxes in good condition.  Please put
 them in the kitchen downstairs.  Items needed to supply needy
 children a gift box for Christmas are:  small toys (such as match box
 cars, hand held toys, etc.) small stuffed animals, color books, hard
 candy, toiletries (such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, brushes,
 wash cloths, kleenex, etc).  You may also make monetary donations to
 help cover the cost of shipping these boxes.  Boxes will be placed in
 the narthex and downstairs for your donations.
