 prayer needs that you would like to share, please see the Pastor or

 an Elder today.  Elders will be greeting at the doors as you leave the

 sanctuary this morning and they are also listed on the back of your

 bulletin.  You may also make a notation on the Fellowship Register.

We joyously welcome you in the name of our Risen Lord! 

Whatever led you to our church today, we believe God rejoices in

having you in this place.  Please take a moment and sign your

name and address on the Fellowship Register as it is passed today.

 

TODAY AT GRACE

 

TODAY WE CELEBRATE THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S

 SUPPER.  We invite all those who are members of Christ’s Church

 and have found forgiveness of sins in Him, to participate in the

 supper.  A brief Communion Service will be held in the Chapel

 following the service for anyone who was not able to be present

 during the worship service.  If you are aware of someone who is not

 here today, but would like to receive this sacrament, please contact

 the church office.

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ will meet.  All kids ages 3

 years – 5th grade meet downstairs by the youth desk.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS will meet in the

 Consistory room following the morning service.  All are welcome. 

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

 

SUNDAYS AT SIX – Pastor Harvey Hertz will lead our service and

 share the message.  Our friends from Faith will meet with us here at

 Grace for the month of April.

THE ELIZABETH CIRCLE will meet on April 19, 1:00 pm in the

 Consistory Room.  We will discuss Isaiah 62, Lesson 20 in our study

 book.  All women welcome.

 

ELDERS & DEACONS – the next meeting is scheduled for Monday,

 April 18.

 

DISCOVERY KIDZ volunteers needed for April!  Even if you are only

 available for one week!  See Heather, or sign up on the narthex table.
 

THE RCA is hiring a part time Administrative Assistant to provide

 support to the Church Multiplication team.  If you are interested, or

 know of someone who may be, call the office at Grace for a full

 description and more information.

Prayers & Praise Line

April 10, 2016

 

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God today that he is always available to us through prayer.
  • “What a friend we have in Jesus!”  Praise God for this special friendship and thank Him too for Christian friends in your life.
  • We pray today for our Discovery Kidz.  May they all come to know and love Jesus.  We pray for Heather as she leads them.
  • We pray for Pastor George and Connections. We pray for the youth and adults that attend each week. 
  • Please be in prayer for Joshua Sawyer who has joined the Navy and is now at the Great Lakes Naval Station. 
  • Please continue to be in prayer for Shirley De Bruin and Sally Herrema as they recover. 
  • We continue to keep Tymie Boeve in our prayers.  We pray for understanding, encouragement, continued healing and strength.
  • Continue to remember Karen Ver Hulst in your prayers.
  • Please keep Brent Kerkstra, son of Paul, in your prayers.  Prayers for a complete return to health and wellness.
  • Pray for Bonnie, friend of Anna Borkowski, who is hospitalized with a blood clot on her lung and is on life support.
  • Please remember Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer. 
  • Please continue to be in prayer for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey. 
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris, Mr. Jim Friar.
