TODAY AT GRACE

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET.  All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS will meet in the

 Consistory Room following the morning service today.  This class

 covers various subject matter pertaining to our Christian walk.

MISSION TRIP - Please be in prayer as the group from Grace leaves

 Saturday for Jackson County Ministries in Annville, KY. Those going

 are: Joan Emaus, Dale & Shari Dood, John & Della Sawyer, Rog &

 Phyllis Vander Sloot, Les & Tinna VanWyk, Larry Kleymeer, and Dee

 Danavage.  They will be returning on April 25.

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

GARDENER NEEDED – Would you be interested in helping take care

 of the church gardens?  See John Sawyer!

 

WORLD MISSION BANKS - Donations will be used to send the

 gospel to those who have never heard through the use of “The

 Treasure”.  This is an audio Bible that is solar powered and available

 in different languages.  If you have filled your bank and would like to

 start another, please pick one up from the narthex table!  We will

 continue this collection through Pentecost, May 24.

 

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of April is designated for

 the MANASSEH PROJECT.  This is an outreach ministry of

 Wedgewood Christian Services and is dedicated to ending the sexual

 exploitation of young men and women in West Michigan.  Through

 community education and collaboration and Wedgewood’s Manasseh

 Project Trauma Recovery Center, they provide support and

 specialized residential treatment services for victims of trafficking

 and empowers the people of West Michigan to end modern day

 slavery.  This special offering will be received on April 26.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

 

  • We thank and praise God that we serve a RISEN Savior!
  • We pray for opportunities this week to witness for Him.  Pray that God will guide our words and actions.
  • We pray for our youth going on a retreat to Cran Hill Ranch next weekend.  We pray for Heather and the other leaders going along as well.
  • We also lift up our Mission Team in prayer as they leave Saturday to begin a week long work project at Jackson County Ministries.
  • We pray for Pastor George today as he leads Connections.  We pray for all the people that attend.
  • We pray for healing and strength for Neil Klein and Karen

Ver Hulst.

  • We pray for the Family Network Celebration & Fund Raising dinner taking place on April 23 at Faith Community CRC. (If you have not signed up and are interested in attending, see Shari Dood.)
  • Remember Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet, in your prayers.
