TODAY AT GRACE
TODAY WE CELEBRATE THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S SUPPER. We
invite all those who are members of Christ’s Church and have found
forgiveness of sins in Him, to participate in this supper. If you are
aware of someone who is not here today, but would like to receive
this sacrament, please contact the church office. Thank you.
CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leaders Janna Emelander & Gracia Class.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leaders Darrell Delaney & Joshua Sawyer.
TODAY is the SEND OFF for the 14 persons who will be leaving Friday at
12:30 PM to take part in a mission work project (for hurricane
victims) with Habitat for Humanity in Mobile, Alabama. They will
leave Mobile on April 25 and return to Wyoming late Sat., April 26.
The persons, accepting the call to serve in Mobile, AL are:
Joan Emaus, Larry Kleymeer, Elaine Martin, Jim & Sheila McElroy,
Kara Pierce, Josh Tyron, Pat Ter Beek, Rog & Phyllis Vander Sloot,
David Vander Sloot, Bill Ver Hulst, Dale & Shari Dood.
We ask for the congregation’s prayers as well as the prayers of those
who signed up to pray for some of us specifically. (a list of the prayer
partners is on the table in the narthex!)
IMMEDIATELY following the worship service, there will be a
brief meeting in the front of the sanctuary for these persons.
THANK YOU to the Youth from Club 3:16 who sang the introit song
during our worship service. They appreciate the opportunity to share
their testimony in song with us.
11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL – There are classes available for
all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
“Faith in the Cinema” – We will watch and discuss how the gift of
faith is treated in the feature film The Robe starring Richard Burton
and Jean Simmons, a story set just after the Resurrection in Palestine
and Rome. Brad Class will lead this study in the Chapel.
“Daniel – Spiritual Living in a Secular World” – Meet in Kia’s office.
SUNDAYS AT SIX - Pastor Rick will continue the study entitled “From the
Old to the New to You: Samuel” where we discover Christ in the Old
Testament and in our lives as well.

PRAYERS & PRAISE
HEALTH CONCERNS – Jim Friar returned home on Monday, following
surgery. Friday, Ralph Bolt had surgery at Blodgett Hospital. On
Wednesday, April 16, Josh Sawyer will have surgery on his shoulder.

MOVED: Hank and Anne Hoezee have moved to Crystal Springs. Their
new address is Crystal Springs, 1175 68th SE, Room D-111, GR, 49508
PASTOR RICK & DONNA will be on vacation April 18 – 25. If a need
arises during this time, please contact an Elder, your Caring
Shepherd or call the office and we will contact them for you.
PRAYER WALKS in the neighborhood of Grace are taking place on
Monday evenings, Tuesday morning, Wednesday evening, and
Saturday morning once a month (on the week prior to and including
the 3rd Saturday). More walkers are welcome. Sign up on the form in
LOST: We have lost some of our outdoor tools…4 rakes, a garden hoe,
and a shovel. If anyone has seen any of these items, please return
them to church or see Neil Klein or Tymie Boeve. Please return ASAP
because they are needed now! Thanks so much!
ATTENTION KIDS, PARENTS, AND VOLUNTEERS: VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
is right around the corner! This year's theme is the POWER LAB (See
the Galaxy). If you are interested and cannot wait to sign up, check

An informational meeting will be held April 19 at 1:00 pm.
SPECIAL OFFERING – The Special Offering for the month of April is
designated for the GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior)
ORGANIZATION. This special offering will be received on May 4
which is GEMS Sunday (not the usual last Sunday of the Month).
ANNUAL SPRING CLEAN UP of the church grounds April 26, 2008.
Grace, along with the Boy Scouts, is organizing this event. Be sure to
wear gloves and work clothes for this day of service. We will begin at
9 am and go until everything is done! See John Sawyer if you have
any questions (534-0528).
“SCHOOL KITS” Service Project for children in impoverished schools,
refugee camps, and other difficult settings in the world. You can help
by sewing cloth school bags and purchasing the specific needed
school items. See the yellow flyer on the table in the narthex for
exact details. This project will end in October so you will have plenty
of time to find sales so that we can fill the bags that are presently

The SINGING HIMS invites your church to join them along with the
beautiful male voices of The Heritage Singing Men from Jenison, and
The Men of A-Chord from Chicago in With A Voice of Singing
combined concert. This concert will be held at the Fellowship
Reformed Church in Hudsonville, on Saturday, April 26 at 3:00 PM.
There will be new music, fellowship and celebration of His Goodness.
CELEBRATING 4 years of God’s blessings for Family Network of
Wyoming Food Pantry! You are welcome to join us May 9,
2008 at the FAMILY CELEBRATION DINNER! The dinner
will be at Calvary Christian Reformed Church Family Center, with
punch bowl at 6:30 PM and dinner at 7:00 PM. Guest speaker will be
Chris Lemke, General Manager of WCSG, 91.3 FM, along with special
