We joyously greet those who are visiting with us today in the name of our Risen Savior!  On this day we rejoice in Christ’s victory over sin and death.  Praise God with great enthusiasm!  Christ is Risen Indeed!  Please sign your name and address on the Fellowship Register as it is passed today so we can

WE CELEBRATE TODAY as the following persons are received into the 
 membership of Grace by Transfer:
 Nicole Rittersdorf (4200 Wimbledon Dr., Apt. 12, Grandville, MI 
 49418) from Burlingame Congregational United Church of Christ
 of Wyoming.
 David Eckhardt (2510 Knollview SW, Wyoming, MI  49519) from
 Parkwood Presbyterian Church of Jenison.
 
 CHILDREN IN WORSHIP
 Children ages 4 – 2nd grade meet in the Fellowship
 Hall today for Children In Worship.  Children are
 dismissed during the hymn prior to the message.
 
 
A SPECIAL Thank You to Christina Kleymeer as well as the Choir and
 Praise Team for their part in our Easter Celebration today!
 
OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for EASTER is designated for ONE GREAT HOUR
 OF SHARING.  Our gifts to One Great Hour of Sharing will enable
 Reformed Church World Service make real the love of Christ for
 individuals and communities around the world who suffer the effects
 of disasters, conflict or severe economic hardship, and for those who
 serve them through gifts of time and money.  This offering will be
 collected this morning.
 
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES WILL NOT BE HELD TODAY! 
 
WE WILL NOT HAVE AN EVENING SERIVCE AT GRACE - You are invited to
 Beverly Reformed Church (2141 Porter SW, Wyoming) to worship
 with them this evening. 
 
PRAYERS & PRAISE
 
HEALTH CONCERNS – Cheryl De Witt will undergo surgery on Friday,
 April 21st at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Irwin Huizen is now residing at
 Byron Center Manor, Meadow Place, 2115 – 84th Street in Byron
 Center.  See the Prayers & Praise Line inserted in your bulletin
 today for other concerns of the Grace family.
 
OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to the following members of
 our church family:
 Nellie Workman, Sandy, Carol, Pat, Terry & Family upon
 the death of their husband and father, Herman Workman, on
 Sunday, April 9, at the age of 86.  Herman was a faithful member of
 Grace for more than 50 years.  Services were held on Wednesday
 with Pastor Rick officiating.
 
 Jeff & Kim Venema and children upon the death of Jeff’s father
 on Tuesday, April 11 in Arkansas.  (The Venema’s new address is:
 523 S. Main, Hersey, MI  49639)
 
IN APPRECIATION – The Veldheer family wishes to thank you for the
 cards, prayers, and calls upon the recent death of our mother,
 grandmother, and great grandmother.  We are so thankful for our
 church family!
 
 Thank you to all for your prayers, cards, and visits while I have
 been recovering from back surgery.  Thanks to Pastor Rick, the
 Sunshine Committee, our Caring Shepherds Joan Emaus and
 Marge Veldheer, and to those who have provided meals.  I am
 gaining strength daily and with God’s help the healing will come
 about quickly. ~Sheryl Steensma
 
 Thank you to the Grace congregation for the cards, prayers and
 other acts of kindness at the time of our mom’s passing.  They are
 very much appreciated! ~Curt & Mary Boes
 
HURRICANE RELIEF WORK TRIP:  14 adults from our church will be
 leaving this Saturday, April 22, for Alabama to build a home for
 hurricane victims.  They are:  Sheila McElroy, Jim & Linda
 Emelander, Joan Emaus, Larry & Deb Kleymeer, Elaine Martin,
 Rog & Phyllis Vander Sloot, Bill Ver Hulst, Ray & Robin Zondervan,
 and Dale & Shari Dood.  Today is your last opportunity to sign up to 
 be a prayer partner for someone going on the trip!  The group will
 return the following weekend!
 
STUDENT SPOTLIGHT!  Today we want to spotlight Lacey Wylie.  Lacey is currently
 attending Western Michigan University with plans to graduate in April 2007 with a
 Bachelors Degree and Certificate in Secondary Education, with two majors: 
 English and Spanish.  Last summer she studied abroad in Argentina.  Lacey
 hopes to further her education by pursuing a Masters and Doctorate in the field of
 Rhetoric and Composition as well as pursuing fluency and
 certification in two or three more languages (French, German, and
 Russian).  Currently she is working at Miller Auditorium in
 Kalamazoo.  You can send notes of encouragement to Lacey at
 2646 Dover Hills Dr., Apt. 103, Kalamazoo, MI 49009 or email
 laceyjwylie@yahoo.com.  
 
PLEASE KEEP PASTOR RICK & DONNA in your prayers this week.  They
 will be leaving this afternoon for St. Augustine, FL for a week of
 vacation.  In the event of an emergency, please contact your Caring
 Shepherd, Pastor Rog Hendricks, or call the office and we will get in
 touch with them for you.

 6:15 PM CADETS FOR BOYS IN GRADES 1-5. We will meet
 at church to ride together at 6:15 pm, or at Newhall at 6:30pm.

 CLEAN UP DAY AT CHURCH - The Boy Scouts once again will assist us

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of April is designated for the
 GEMS ORGANIZATION.  This special offering will be received on GEMS
 Sunday, May 7 (not the usual last Sunday of the month!)
 
FOOD PANTRY COLLECTION – Thanks to all who have given so generously
 to the needy in our community.  Your efforts are appreciated!
 
FIESTA VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL at Grace.  The date is June 12-16!  Sign
 up to become part of this exciting week! There are many different
 areas in which you can help!  Most of all, we need everyone to PRAY
 that God will use us to reach Children for Jesus! 
 
CHRISTIAN MEN Supporting Church Growth (formerly Reformed
 Laymens Publicity Committee) will have their semi-annual dinner on
 Thursday, April 27 at First Reformed Church of Grandville.  Dinner is
 at 7:00 pm with a program of spiritual singing and a presentation by
 Rev. Rob Wondergem, pastor of a new church start in downtown
 Grand Rapids at 7:45 PM.  Please place your reservation with Orville
 Boerman (878-1246) by April 25.
