TODAY AT GRACE

 

TODAY WE CELEBRATE THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S

 SUPPER.  We invite all those who are members of Christ’s Church

 and have found forgiveness of sins in Him, to participate in the

 supper.  A brief Communion Service will be held in the

 Chapel following the service for anyone who was not able

 to be present during the worship service.  If you are aware of

 someone who is not here today, but would like to receive this

 sacrament, please contact the church office.

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET.  All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS will meet in the

 Consistory Room following the morning service today.  This class

 covers various subject matter pertaining to our Christian walk. 

 

PRAYERS & PRAISE

 

HEALTH CONCERNS –  Wilma Kamphuis was transferred to Tender

 Care after she was hospitalized this past week.  Sophie Licari

 underwent a surgical procedure on Friday.  Please pray for quick

 healing for Sophie.  For all Prayer Requests and Praise Reports, see

 the Prayer Line in your bulletin today.

 

MISSION TRIP - Please be in prayer for our Mission Team (Dale &

 Shari Dood, John & Della Sawyer, Rog & Phyllis Vander Sloot,

 Les & Tinna VanWyk, Larry Kleymeer, Dee Danavage) who will be

 working this week at Jackson County Ministries in Annville, KY.

 They will be returning on Saturday.

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

GARDENER NEEDED – Would you be interested in helping take care

 of the church gardens?  See John Sawyer!

 

WORLD MISSION BANKS - Donations will be used to send the

 gospel to those who have never heard through the use of “The

 Treasure”.  This is an audio Bible that is solar powered and available

 in different languages.  If you have filled your bank and would like to

 start another, please pick one up from the narthex table!  We will

 continue this collection through Pentecost, May 24.

 

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of April is designated for

 the MANASSEH PROJECT.  This is an outreach ministry of

 Wedgewood Christian Services and is dedicated to ending the sexual

 exploitation of young men and women in West Michigan.  Through

 community education and collaboration and Wedgewood’s Manasseh

 Project Trauma Recovery Center, they provide support and

 specialized residential treatment services for victims of trafficking

 and empowers the people of West Michigan to end modern day

 slavery.  This special offering will be received on April 26.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

 

  • We pray for opportunities this week to witness for Him.  Pray that God will guide our words and actions.
  • We pray for our youth returning home this morning from their retreat at Cran Hill Ranch. 
  • We also lift up our Mission Team in prayer as they begin a week long work project at Jackson County Ministries.
  • We pray for Pastor George today as he leads Connections.  We pray for all the people that attend.
  • We pray for all those who recently have lost loved ones.  We pray for Sandy Farris following the loss of her Grandmother.
  • Please keep Wilma Kamphuis in your prayers as she is hospitalized. 
  • We pray today for Sophie Licari recovering from surgery.
  • Remember Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet, in your prayers.
  • Also, please be in prayer for Al & Bettee Boeve, parents of John, who both reside at Oak Crest Manor in Jenison.  Bettee is now in care of Spectrum Hospice.
  • Please be in prayer for Dave Battjes, son of Trena, who is in ICU at Butterworth Hospital.
  • Please remember Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer.
