TODAY AT GRACE

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

THANK YOU to our Senior Choir and everyone who helped make the

 Easter Cantata a special part of our Easter Celebrations. A special

 thank you to our Choir Director, Paul Kerkstra!

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the Sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George and the new church start. All are welcome.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in

 the Consistory Room following the morning service.

 

3:00 PM Y-LIFE will be attending Winter Jam. Please see Ms.

 Heather if you plan on attending.

 

6:00 PM – We will gather with all the churches participating in the

 Lenten Pulpit Exchange at Unity Reformed Church

 (4450 Poinsettia SE, Kentwood) for a special Joint Service. All

 pastors will be taking part as well as some of our Chiapas Team.

HEALTH CONCERNS – Keep Pastor George Grevenstuk in your

 Prayers as he recovers from Heart Surgery. For updates on his

 Sally Herrema underwent knee replacement surgery on Tuesday at

 St. Mary’s hospital. For all other prayer requests and praise reports,

OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to Shirley De Bruin

 and Ruth Ver Merris and families upon the death of their brother/

 brother-in-law, Norman VerMerris, Saturday, March 24 at the age of

  1. Funeral Services were held on Friday at the Metcalf-Jonkhoff

 Funeral Home in Grand Rapids.

 

IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to my Grace family for all the

 prayers, cards, and other kindness shown to me following my

 recent health concerns and hospitalization. ~Keith Baker

 

THANK YOU to the following Discovery Kidz volunteers that just

 finished up their rotation: Donna Oppenhuizen, Louise Grimm, 

 Kerri Baker and Jacob Wohlgemuth. Our Rotation each week would

 On behalf of the Discovery Kidz we would like to say "Thank you"

 to everyone that ordered Flowers. Reminder they will be ready for

Church Plant Prayer Focus

 

Please pray for wisdom as we seek to grow the Crossing Community beyond the Club 3:16 families.

 

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God today for His healing powers and love for us!
  • We are thankful today for our homes, food on our tables and loved ones who surround us.
  • Remember Pastor George & Juel in your prayers as Pastor George begins the healing process.
  • Please pray for Sally Herrema following knee replacement surgery. 
  • We pray for those who have recently lost loved ones. In particular we pray for the Ver Merris Family.
  • Also keep Anna Borkowski’s mother, Rose, in your prayers. She has been wearing a heart monitor and is seeking answers to health issues. 
  • We thank and praise God for progress being made by Pastor Rick’s mother, Rita Oppenhuizen. She was able to move to Maple Creek (formally Luther Village), an assisted living facility.
  • We remember in prayer the following family or friends of our members that are ill or receiving treatments: Lola De Young, Curt Boes, Dan De Vries, and Doris Ver Merris.
  • Please pray for Don Roelofs son, Justin Roelofs, serving in the military.
  • Keep these friends and family serving in the military in your prayers: Amie Pierce, Mitch Dekker, Brent Wenzel, Adam Simons, Shanna Ten Clay. 
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs Miriam
