 TODAY AT GRACE

THIS MORNING we celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. We
invite all those who are members of Christ’s Church and have found
forgiveness of sins in Him, to participate in this supper. If you are
aware of someone who is not here today, but would like to receive
this sacrament, please contact the church office.

CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 years meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leaders Jennifer Elkowitz and Chelsea Boeve.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leader Gracia Class and Heather Dood.

11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes available for
all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
Songs and Psalms Join Brad Class in the Chapel. This week we will
look at Psalm 136.
You Were Shaped For Serving God – Meet at the Crossing.

7:00 - 9:00 PM HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP meets at the Crossing.

3:00 – 5:00 PM CLUB 3:16 for MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH
6:15 PM CO-ED SOFTBALL PRACTICE at Lemery Park on Byron
Center. The first game will be May 2 at 6:45 pm at the Knights
of Columbus field. Players please arrive 30 minutes early.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25, 2007
2:45 – 5:00 PM CLUB 3:16 FOR HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH
6:45 – 8:00 PM CHOIR WILL PRACTICE

5:00 PM CADET-O-RAMA! Doors will open at 5:00 pm and races will
begin as soon as possible. Boys meet at Woodhaven Reformed
Church’s Woodshed located at 3959 – 68th Street SW. Families
are welcome to attend as well. Hot dogs, barbeque and pizza will
be available. If you have any questions, call or see Darrell.

THURSDAY, APRIL 26, 2007

 NEXT WEEK – APRIL 29, 2007

NEXT SUNDAY Shawn Gerbers will lead our morning service and share
the message. We will not have an evening Chapel service ~ everyone
is invited to Grace Gifted at the Crossing!

6:00 PM GRACE GIFTED – EVERYONE IS INVITED! Grace Gifted will be
held at the Crossing. There will be a few changes! The most
significant change will be that there will be fewer gifts displayed, as
we are trying to turn this into a more contemporary service. There
will be a lively worship time and a relevant Gospel message preached
by Darrell Delaney.

 PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS – Geri Ruis has returned home following surgery
Friday. Jan VanWyk continues at the U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor.
She would love to hear from you! You can call her at 734-936-6453,
or mail can be sent to: University of Michigan Hospital, 1500 East
Medical Center Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48109. See the Prayers and
Praise Line for all other concerns of the Grace family.

IN APPRECIATION – We want to thank all of you for your expressions of
sympathy, your prayers, your cards, and deeds of kindness shown
us at the home-going of our dear husband, father and grandfather,
Irwin. A special thank you to Pastor Rick for his words of comfort,
to Paul for the beautiful organ music, to Bill Tacoma for the visits,
and to the ladies who served the lunch. It is all very much

USE ME, JESUS, USE ME! This is the prayer of the 15 persons working
this coming week in McComb, Mississippi. Please pray for safety for
the group and also pray that they will be a blessing to those they
serve! On May 13 they will share stories and pictures during the
morning worship service! Those on the trip are: Joan Emaus,
Jim & Linda Emelander, Larry Kleymeer, Jim & Sheila Mc Elroy,
Kara Pierce, Nikki Probst, Phyllis & Rog Vander Sloot, Bill
Ver Hulst, Eric & Erika Wigent, and Dale & Shari Dood.

TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP – At a recent Elders meeting the
membership of Maribeth Frontjes and Jan Stephan was transferred
to First Cutlerville Christian Reformed Church of Byron Center.

 SPECIAL DATES TO REMEMBER

Wednesday, May 2, 9:00 AM THESSALONIANS II Bible Study Group will
meet in the Consistory Room.

Sunday, May 6, 10:00 AM GEMS SUNDAY. Our GEMS will take part in our
service. Our SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of April is designated
for the GEMS Organization. This special offering will be received on
May 6 (not the usual last Sunday of the month).

Sunday, May 6, 6:00 PM MUSIC APPRECIATION SERVICE. All our music
groups will participate!

Wednesday, June 20 – CHURCH PICNIC at Pinery Park! Mark your
calendars!

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

PASTOR RICK will be on vacation this next week. If an emergency arises,
please call the office and we will get in touch with your Elder.

NEWSPAPER COLLECTIONS will continue! You will notice a green “Paper
Gator” in the parking lot near the garage. You can now bring you
papers directly there. All newspapers, phone books, magazines,
paper, etc. can be deposited there (no cardboard or plastic).
Proceeds will benefit our Cadet Group and the Boy Scouts (many of
which belong to our congregation) equally.

BAKE SALE! Bake Sales will be held today and April 29 with proceeds
benefiting the Alaska Challenge Group! Donations of baked goods
from the congregation are welcomed! Just bring your dessert,
cookies, bread...with you on Sunday morning and see Tymie or Kia in
the narthex for pricing. If you have any questions, please call Tymie
at 538-3100 or 531-5700. Thanks!

CHANGE FOR ALASKA – Remember to drop your coins and dollars in the
Alaska Change jars in the narthex! Instructions are in the narthex.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY - If you would like to help build the local RCA
sponsored Habitat home, fill in one of the forms on the table in the
narthex. There are times in April, May, or June. Please sign the
board that is setting by the sound system in the sanctuary….this
board will be built right into the home itself.

JOIN THE DIG AT The Quest for Truth - June 11-15! At Quest for Truth we
travel to Holy Land sites to uncover evidence that shows the truth
about Jesus. VOLUNTEERS are needed especially for CRAFTS and
BIBLE CHALLENGE LEADERS (the activity that comes after the Bible
lesson). See Darrell or sign up in the narthex.

“WITH A VOICE OF SINGING” – A 100 voice combined male chorus that
includes Men of A-Cord, Heritage Singing Men, and the Singing
Hims will present a concert on Saturday afternoon, April 28 at
3:00 pm, Fellowship Ref. Church, 36th & Port Sheldon, Hudsonville.

CROP FOR THE CURE – Saturday, May 12 from 11 am – 10 pm at Grace.
Cost is $25.00 per person or scrap with your “Bosom Buddies”
4 tickets for only $80. Your ticket includes lunch, dinner, snacks and
1 raffle ticket the day of the event. Each cropper wearing pink will
get a free raffle ticket at the door! Please RSVP to Christy Kleymeer
no later than May 5.
