TODAY AT GRACE
 
TODAY WE CELEBRATE THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S SUPPER.  We
 invite all those who are members of Christ’s Church and have found
 forgiveness of sins in Him, to participate in this supper.  If you are
 aware of someone who is not here today, but would like to receive
 this sacrament, please contact the church office.  Thank you.
 
 CHILDREN IN WORSHIP
 Children ages 4 – 2nd grade meet in the Fellowship
 Hall today for Children In Worship.  Children are
 dismissed during the hymn prior to the message. 
 
11:30 – 12:10 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes available for
 all ages three years old and upward.  PARENTS are invited to join in
 the nursery for a time of fellowship with one another while the kids
 are in Sunday School!  Coffee and cold drinks will be provided!
 ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
 Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. 
 Grace and the Millennium – Brad Class will lead this group in the
 Chapel. 
 The Sunday Prayer Group will meet in the Sanctuary.
 
7:00 – 9:00 PM THE HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP FELLOWSHIP NIGHT.

 bulletin today for other concerns of the Grace family.
 
IN APPRECIATION – I would like to thank my Grace church family for
 the many prayers, cards, and the visitation of many of our
 congregation.  It is a real comfort when you are in need.

 Thank you to Pastor Rick, the Sunshine Committee, and the
 congregation for the prayers, cards, and visits following my recent

 Thank you to Pastor Rick and the members of the Grace
 congregation for the many cards and expressions of kindness
 following the hospitalization and home-going of our mom, Doris
 Cook.  A special thank you to the ladies who prepared and served
 the luncheon. ~The Cook Family
 
OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to Curt & Mary Boes upon the
 death of Curt’s mother, Katherine Boes, on Monday, March 27 at the
 age of 89.  Services  were held Thursday, March 30 at Cook Funeral
 Home with Pastor Bruce Osbeck officiating.
 
STUDENT SPOTLIGHT!  Today we want to spotlight:
 KRISTEN EMELANDER

 Kristen is in her senior year at Northern Michigan

 University. She will graduate on May 6 with a Bachelor of
 Science in Construction Management and a minor in
 Business Administration.  She currently is working part-
 time at Bay Cliff Health Camp.  Kristen will marry Nathan
 Thompson at Grace on November 11, 2006.  You can send notes of

NEXT WEEKAPRIL 9, 2006
PALM SUNDAY
 
NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue the Lenten series  “SIGHTS AND
 SOUNDS OF  LENT”. The message next week is “What do I Have to Wave?”
 from Matthew 21:1-11.  The Senior Choir will present their EASTER
 CANTATA.  CHILDREN who would like to participate in the “palm
 waving” meet in the narthex prior to the morning service.
 
6:00 PM JOINT COMMUNITY SERVICE – To conclude our Lenten Pulpit
 Exchange we will meet together at Beverly Reformed Church 
 (2141 Porter SW).  Pastor Rick, Pastor Bruce Osbeck, and Pastor
 El Zwart together will present the message “The Church and the
 Lamb”.  Our three choirs will combine for a special number.  Choir
 rehearsal will begin at 5:00 pm.  The evening offering is designated
 for Words of Hope.  A nursery will be provided!

Monday, April 10, 7:00 pm PRAISE TEAM PRACTICE.
 
Tuesday, April 11, 7:00 pm OUTREACH & MISSION TEAM will meet along
 with the YOUTH TEAM.

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for EASTER is designated for ONE GREAT HOUR
 OF SHARING.  Our gifts to One Great Hour of Sharing will enable
 Reformed Church World Service make real the love of Christ for
 individuals and communities around the world who suffer the effects
 of disasters, conflict or severe economic hardship, and for those who
 serve them through gifts of time and money.  This offering will be
 collected Easter Sunday, April 16.
 
MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
GRACE GOLFERS – League play begins on April 18.  This year we will play
 at Wallinwood Springs (Jenison) on Tuesdays at 4:30 pm.  NEW
 TEAMS ARE NEEDED!  Contact Bill Ver Hulst for more information
 538-6311.
 
FOOD PANTRY COLLECTION – Remember to bring in food, personal care
 items, paper products, or cleaning supplies for our Lent Food Pantry
 Collection.  Please bring these items to the boxes by the lower &
 upper doors.  Thank you for all you have given already.
 
HURRICANE RELIEF WORK TRIP to Alabama.  13 adults from our church
 are taking part in this.  They are:  Jim & Linda Emelander, Joan
 Emaus, Larry & Deb Kleymeer, Elaine Martin, Rog & Phyllis Vander
 Sloot, Bill Ver Hulst, Ray & Robin Zondervan, and Dale & Shari
 Dood.  We will leave Saturday, April 22 and return the following
 weekend.  Please stop by our table in the narthex to see pictures and
 more details of the owner of the home we will be building, as well as
 trip details.  Sign up to be a prayer partner with one of those going.
 
FIESTA VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL at Grace.  The date is June 12-16!

Sign ups have begun for everyone to become part of this exciting week! There are many different areas that you can help with during that week including donating food items for the snacks or helping with

 decorations and craft preparations before VBS week. 
 Most of all, we need everyone to PRAY that God will
