 TODAY AT GRACE

TODAY WE CELEBRATE THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S
SUPPER. We invite all those who are members of Christ’s Church
and have found forgiveness of sins in Him, to participate in this
supper. A brief Communion Service will be held in the
Chapel following the service for anyone who was not able
to be present during the worship service. If you are aware of
someone who is not here today, but would like to receive this
sacrament, please contact the church office.

9:50 am – 11:15 am DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages
3 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs for your own service.

THE SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in the
Consistory room following the morning service.

LENTEN PULPIT EXCHANGE – We welcome Rev. Mark Bergsma,
Pastor of Unity Reformed Church to our pulpit tonight. Pastor
George is preaching at Unity.

 NEXT SUNDAY, APRIL 10, 2011
 5th Sunday of Lent

NEXT SUNDAY morning Pastor Rick will continue the
series “Not a Fan” with the message: “What About the
Rules?” Next Sunday evening we will continue the Lenten
Pulpit Exchange with Mr. Chris Hall, Commissioned Pastor at
Beverly, leading our service and sharing the message. Pastor Rick
will be preaching at Unity.

A MISSION TRIP informational meeting will be held following the
morning service for all those considering going on the Mission Trip
to Chiapas in Spring of 2012.

 PRAYERS & PRAISE

IN APPRECIATION – "Our heartfelt thanks to the Grace family for
all the expressions of sympathy, love and encouragement. Mom
always thought of Grace as 'my second family'. Special thanks to
Tymie and all who helped in the kitchen. The entire day was a
wonderful tribute to our mom/grandma."

Last week I was informed that my cancer is in remission – PRAISE
GOD! I offer a very belated thank you to everyone who has been
there for me. Whether a kind word, card, or a visit to the hospital
or home. A special thank you to Pastor Rick for his visits, the Choir,
Bill Tacoma, and Karen Roberts. And of course, thank you for the
prayers…I could feel it! ~Lucille Sytsema

Sunday, May 1 SAVE THE DATE! 1ST VBS INFORMATIONAL
MEETING and sign up meeting after the morning service.

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of April and also the
Easter Offering is designated for Club 3:16 and for the Crossing
Community. Please pray for our efforts as we reach out, expand, and
provide opportunities for the youth and their families through the
remainder of the school year and into the summer months.

DISCOVERY KIDZ SUMMER ROTATION SIGN UPS – The
sheets are up for the summer schedule. Summer rotation consists of
Art, Games/Gardening, and Shepherds. Teaching is a two week
commitment and shepherds are a 3 week commitment. There will be
no Discovery Kidz on the holiday weekends this summer.

PRAYER PARTNERS – New prayer lists for the next 6 months are in
your mailboxes today.
 

WORDS OF HOPE DEVOTIONAL Booklets for the months of April,
May & June are now available on the sound board and narthex table.

CLOTHING DRIVE – It’s spring and many of us will be going through
our clothes and giving away the extras. “Second Chance Clothing”
(on Leonard NW), a used clothing store of Trinity Reformed Church,
is looking for good used clothing of any size and season! Summer
clothes would especially be appreciated (presently they are short on
girl’s clothing), but anything would be great! We will have boxes by
the upper and lower doors through May 1 for this clothing drive.

FAMILY NETWORK OF WYOMING CELEBRATION & FUND
RAISING DINNER! -- Thursday, May 5, 2011 – Punch at 6 PM &

 We are thankful today for flowers beginning to bloom…and other signs of Spring!

 We pray for all those recovering following surgery or hospitalization. In particular we pray today for Sally Herrema and Mary Huizen.

 We remember in prayer the following family or friends of our members that are ill or receiving treatments: Marvin Witvliet, brother of Arlene Dekker, who is beginning chemo for esophageal cancer; Amee Bekkering, daughter of Dick and Ruth Locke receiving treatments for cancer; Larry VerMerris, son of Ruth Vermerris diagnosed with pancreatic cancer; Linda Hoezee, daughter-in-law of Ann Hoezee who is undergoing chemotherapy.
