 Connections Prayer Focus

Beginning this week we will prayer walk through the neighborhood. With snacks such as Cracker Jacks, fruit roll-ups, Butterfinger Bites and bottled water in hand we talk with folks. Whether they’re out and about or in their homes or not, we hand them a goodie, chat with them and offer to pray for them.  It’s fun and exciting. It’s doing what God wants us to do.

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: "`Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: `Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."  Matthew 22:36-40

Do you love God with “all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind”? Great! You’re half-way there! Let’s all follow all that Jesus commanded and go love our neighbor together

Please pray that we all will continue to seek God’s wisdom and strengthen our resolve in finding many new ways to love the last, least and lost in our surrounding neighborhood with the life changing love of God in Christ
