WE CELEBRATE TODAY as we receive into membership at Grace:
Jane Duthler (2228 Banner Ct., Wyoming, MI 09 452-6709) by
transfer from FairHaven Ministries of Jenison. Welcome Jane!
THE SACRAMENT OF INFANT BAPTISM will be administered today to
Caleb James Zondervan, son of Ray & Robin Zondervan. The
flowers on the piano are in honor of his baptism.
CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 years meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leader is Heather Dood.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leader Gracia Class and Chelsea Boeve.
Our special EASTER OFFERING is designated for Reformed Church World
Service, specifically Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. The sixteen
people from our church that will be going to McComb, Mississippi
this month will use some of the funds that are set aside by the RCWS
for projects like this. This offering will be received this morning.
A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Christina Kleymeer & Ray Zondervan as well as
our Praise Team for their part in our Easter Celebration today.
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES WILL NOT BE HELD TODAY! Also we will not
have an evening service at Grace tonight.
PRAYERS & PRAISE
HEALTH CONCERNS – Keep the VanWyk family in your prayers as Jan
has returned to the U. of M. Hospital in Ann Arbor. Adrian
Peterson will have surgery Friday, April 13, to remove tumors from
his bladder…keep Marge and Ade in your prayers this week.
IN APPRECIATION – We express our gratitude to Peter & Pat Cook for

Mary Huizen and family upon the death of her husband, Irwin Huizen, on Tuesday, April 3, 2007. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 7, at Grace Reformed Church.

We will be meeting to discuss safety and security, assess the year
to date, and brainstorm some summer ideas. Also, because I
just like being around y’all! See Nikki with any questions,
comments, and the like.
7:30 PM THESSALONIANS I BIBLE STUDY group will meet at The
NEXT WEEK – APRIL 15, 2007
Pastor Rick will bring God’s Word to us in the morning and evening. During the morning service there will be a ‘send off’ for the 16 persons who are going to McComb, Mississippi April 20-28.
SPECIAL DATES & ANNOUNCEMENTS TO REMEMBER
Sunday, May 6, 10:00 AM GEMS SUNDAY. Our GEMS will take part in our
service. Our SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of April is designated
for the GEMS Organization. This special offering will be received on
May 6 (not the usual last Sunday of the month).
Sunday, May 6, 6:00 PM MUSIC APPRECIATION SERVICE. All our music
groups will participate!
CHANGE FOR ALASKA – Remember to drop your coins and dollars in the
Alaska Change jars in the narthex! Instructions are on the narthex
“TRANSPORT FOR CHRIST” is having a dinner banquet on Tuesday, April
17, 2007. If you are interested in attending or hearing more about
this, contact Wes Dekker at 534-9315 before April 15.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY If you would like to help build the local RCA
sponsored Habitat home, fill in one of the forms on the table in the
narthex. There are times in April, May, or June. Please sign the
board that is setting by the sound system in the sanctuary….this
board will be built right into the home itself. Also, in the narthex
there are more banks and calendars available, if you would like to
continue giving throughout the month for this project.
JOIN THE DIG AT The Quest for Truth - June 11-15! At Quest for Truth we
travel to Holy Land sites to uncover evidence that shows the truth
about Jesus. VOLUNTEERS are needed!! Sign up today in the
MCCOMB MISSISSIPPI WORK TRIP: We would love to have more of you
sign up to be a prayer partner for a specific person. The sign up is in
the narthex! It means so much to us to know someone is praying for
us by name! Your person(s) will keep you personally informed!
