 sanctuary this morning and they are also listed on the back of your

 bulletin.  You may also make a notation on the Fellowship Register.



We are so glad to have you worship with us during this season of Lent.  During this season we are all together in need of diving forgiveness, in need of power to lead a more faithful Christian life.  Whatever led you to our church today, we believe God rejoices in having you in this place.  Please take a moment and sign your name and address on the Fellowship Register as it is passed today.





TODAY we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem which

 marks the beginning of Holy Week.  THANK YOU to our Senior

 Choir for presenting the Easter Cantata “Up From the Grave” this 

 morning.  A very special thank you to our Choir Director, Paul



9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ will meet.  All kids ages

 3 years – 5th grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 


A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.


THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL class will meet in the Consistory

 Room following the morning worship service.  They cover various

 subject matter using the Sunday School Guide. 


5:00 PM - FOR OUR EVENING service we will join with other area

 churches at Calvary CRC, 3500 Byron Center Rd., Wyoming, for a

 Seder Supper/Passover Presentation.  This is a professionally done

 presentation about meaning of the Passover and how it is fulfilled in

 Christ. Plan to come to this special service. Note the start time!

EASTER CELEBRATION!  Pastor Rick will share the message:

 “What are the Dead Waiting For?”  No Discovery Kidz on Easter.




EASTER EGG HUNT - A sign-up sheet is in the narthex for

 volunteers.  Needed are greeters, egg placers, workers at the prize

 tables, and workers for the craft table. * Candy donations

 needed as well to fill our eggs. Individually wrapped/peanut free

 candy.  Remember we are putting them in the eggs so small is great!! 


THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of April and Easter Sunday

 is designated for World Renew.  Their Mission:  Compelled by God’s

 deep passion for justice & mercy, we join communities around the

 world to renew hope, reconcile lives, and restore creation.


LADIES – You are invited to the LENTEN BREAKFAST at Beverly

 Reformed Church on Wednesday, April 12 at 9:30 am.  Pastor El

 Zwart will present a Lenten devotional concert that captures the

 nature of the season.  RSVP by calling the Beverly office at 532-2871

 by TODAY.  You can leave a message.  There is no cost but will be a

 free will offering.

THURSDAY, APRIL 13 – Maundy Thursday

 7:00 PM We will be remembering the steps to Calvary

 through a special worship service.  Communion

 will be served. 


SATURDAY, APRIL 15 –  Annual Easter Egg Hunt!  

 11:00 AM The kids will love to come and hunt for 

 eggs!  There will be singing, prizes, a craft, and cookie

 decorating!  Bring your kids, your neighbor kids,

 grandkids and enjoy this fun day.



SUNDAY, APRIL 16 - Easter Celebration


 10:00 AM Come join in singing praises to our Risen

 Lord! Pastor Rick will share the message “What Are the

 Dead Waiting For?”  A nursery is provided!

Prayers & Praise Line

Congregational Prayers and Praise



  • As we begin Holy Week remember the events in Christ’s life and thank and praise God for giving the gift of his Son, who is to suffer and die for the sins of his people.  Thank you for the gift of eternal life to all that believe this truth.
  • We thank and praise God today for the gift of music.  We are so thankful for our Senior Choir and director, Paul Kerkstra.
  • We pray today for our children in Discovery Kidz downstairs.  May they all come to know and love Jesus.  We pray for Heather as well as all the volunteers who give of their time each week. 
  • We thank God for the ministry of Connections.  We pray for Pastor George as he leads them each week and as they transition over to Calvary for their Thursday evening dinners.  We thank God for the lives that are touched by this ministry.
  • Continue to keep all those recovering from surgeries and/or undergoing therapy.  We remember Mary Huizen, Lorie Norden, Sally Herrema, Linda Kraft, Lon Gerbers, Roger Vander Sloot. 

We are thankful for the progress they have made.

  • Please continue to remember our Grace members and members of their families who are in need of healing, comfort, and strength.  Esther Hoag; Char Otto; Shirley De Bruin; Larry Ver Merris, son of Ruth Ver Merris; Deb Stouten, sister of Pastor Rick; Brent Kerkstra, son of Paul; Janet, sister of Wes Dekker; Lana, granddaughter of Ken & Cindy Wylie.
