TODAY AT GRACE

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC today is presented by Hermina  

 Feikema. Thank you, Hermina, for sharing with us today.

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George and Connections.

 

PRAYERS & PRAISE

 

HEALTH CONCERNS – Please continue to be in prayer for Bill

 Ver Hulst.

**Note as of Friday, August 9: Bill continues to improve, however he will remain hospitalized

 for a couple more days.

 Mac McAlary continues at Fulton Manor for rehab/therapy for a back

 injury which he sustained. He is showing some improvement. He

 may be transferred to another facility soon. Prayers are certainly

 needed. For visitation please check with Mary. For all prayer

 requests and praise reports, see the Prayers & Praise Line in

 your bulletin.

 

THANK YOU - Grace family I cannot thank you all enough for

 helping get so many of our youth to Cran Hill Ranch for summer
 camp. Without your generous donations many of these kids would

 not have been able to experience a Christ filled week at the ranch. 

 Thank you all again for your continued support of our youth.

URGENT NEED Once again the FNOW Pantry is running low on  

 Toilet Paper. Throughout the rest of the summer we are asking you to

 consider helping with this need….just bring a pack to church & we will

 deliver it to the pantry! Thank YOU!

 

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of August is designated for

 Western Seminary. This offering will be received on August 25.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

 

  • Please continue to pray for healing for Bill Ver Hulst
  • Please continue to keep Joan Patterson in your prayers as she rebuilds her strength and heals.
  • Uplift Mac McAlary in your prayers as he undergoes therapy.
  • Please pray for Rita Oppenhuizen, mother of Pastor Rick, who is now at Mary Free Bed for rehab following a stroke.
  • Please remember Pastor Rick and Donna’s brother in law, Art Radlicki, of Escanaba, in your prayers as he recovers from a car accident. 
  • Please be in prayer for Lola De Young and her parents, Matt & Lindsey. 
  • We thank and praise you God for your healing powers, for your comfort and assurance of your love for us.
  • Continue to keep Amie Pierce in your prayers as she is stationed at Fort Riley in Kansas.
