THIS MORNING the Alaska Challenge Team will share their experiences
with us. We will also celebrate Profession of Faith.

CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 years meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leader Heather Dood.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leader Sandy Farris and helper Matthew Farris.

OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC this morning is presented by Nikki Probst and
Shari Dood. Thank you Nikki & Shari for inspiring us with your
testimony in song!

ALL CADET COUNSELORS please see Darrell after the service in the
narthex.

emergency surgery to remove her gall bladder. Leora Totten is now

is planning a golf outing on at the Pines Golf Course. Following golf,

dessert to pass. Don’t golf? - Just come for dinner and fellowship!

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

PASTOR RICK & DONNA will be on vacation August 13 - 23rd. In the
event of an emergency, please contact your Caring Shepherd, Elder,
or call the church office.

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of August is designated for Hope
College. As of this year, this is not in the budget…Hope College will
receive whatever is collected in this special offering on August 26.

ELEMENTARY SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS NEEDED! If anyone is
interested in helping out our elementary Sunday School, please let
Darrell know. Our fall programs will be upon us shortly and we have
very few volunteers so far. There is a sign up sheet in the narthex.
Let’s work together to be a blessing to our kids! Thanks!

HELP NEEDED: Our key food pantry, UCOM needs your help. There is
an urgent need for food containers, both glass and plastic, quart size
and smaller. They must be clean and have lids. Also needed are
plastic ½ gallon milk and juice containers, and plastic and paper
grocery bags. The shelves are very low and UCOM is in need of
vegetables of all kinds. Please bring your items to the kitchen or
office at church and we will transport them to UCOM on Chicago
Drive. Questions, call 241-4006.

from Ethiopia

• The summer Club 3:16 plans and children who are attending
• Roger Roberts following surgery on Tuesday the 7th. Pre-surgery
treatments did shrink the tumor considerably and they very optimistic
about the outcome of the surgery
