SCHOOL SUPPLIES! Thank you for all you have done already! So here’s
an update! The sewn school bags that are going to RCWS (many
countries) is complete in that we now have enough supplies to fill
over the 200 bags that have been made! Our GEMS will fill the bags
with these school supplies as a service project! (If any sewers of
these bags have not told Shari how many they will be finishing,
please do so right away). Now all school supplies that are coming in
are going to the “Class Act Backpack Drive” that WCSG is sponsoring
(some of these will go to our own Club 3:16 kids). Anything you can
give toward this is appreciated…including the backpacks themselves!
(There are some sales going on where you get the bag for almost
nothing.) Please bring these supplies to the box here at church by the
downstairs door. Please do this before August 24, so they can be
distributed! Thanks again!
