Prayers & Praise Line

August 21, 2016

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We are so thankful today for Christian Camps such as Cran Hill Ranch and Camp Geneva and the counselors that spend the summer with the kids.  We are thankful that our Grace kids have the opportunity to spend a week at camp.  We pray that many lives may be touched through the time spent there.
  • We remember in our prayers our Discovery Kidz as they go through the summer months.  We pray for fun times, discovery, and a closer relationship to Jesus.
  • We pray for Pastor George and Connections and for the youth and adults that attend each week. We pray for Connections as they reach out to the neighborhood through summer block parties and other activities through the week.
  • We pray for those who have recently lost loved ones.  In particular we pray for Bill Ver Hulst and his family.  We thank and praise God for Karen’s life and eternal life in heaven.
  • Please continue to keep Sandy Workman, Bob Tofferi, and Sally Herrema in your prayers.  We pray for continued healing and a complete return to health and strength.
  • Shirley De Bruin continues to undergo Chemo treatments (they indicated being somewhat affective, which is an answer to prayers).  She request that you continue to remember her in prayer.  God is faithful.
  • We continue to keep Tymie Boeve in our prayers.  We pray for understanding, encouragement, continued healing and strength. Also, please remember Tymie’s mom in your prayers.  She has just recently been diagnosed with a stage 4 cancer.
  • We ask for prayers for Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet as she has had a setback due to recent surgery.
  • Please keep Brent Kerkstra, son of Paul, in your prayers.  Prayers for a complete return to health and wellness.
  • Please continue to be in prayer for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey.
  • Continue to lift up Josh Sawyer in prayer as he is moving to the Naval base in Battle Creek  .
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Betty Figueroa, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris, Mr. Jim Friar.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to writethem down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praises.
