TODAY AT GRACE WE WELCOME Pastor Cecil Martens to our pulpit this
morning and Pastor Todd Bush will be with us this evening. Thank
you for coming and for bringing us God’s Word…you both are like
family and we pray God will bless our time together!

Our MINISTRY OF MUSIC is presented by Sue Kurtz. Thank you Sue for
once again coming and sharing your testimony in song!

All Children ages 3 years – 2nd Grade will meet together
through the summer months in the Fellowship Hall.
Worship Leaders this week are Judy Beadle and
Kerri Baker.


NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue the series “Walking With God by
the Water” with the message: “Sea Stories: The Singing Sea” from
Psalm 98.


HEALTH CONCERNS – Al Grimm returned to his home Wednesday. See
the Prayers & Praise Line for all prayer requests and praise reports. 


ELDERS & CONSISTORY – The next meetings will take place on Monday,
August 10. 6:30 pm Elders, 7:30 pm Consistory.

CROCODILE DOCK REUNION! Save the date for this fun reunion
event! It will take place on Monday August 17 from 11 am –
1:00 pm. We will have a fun Bible story, sing the same VBS songs
we learned earlier this summer, make a craft, play games, and share
lunch! SLURP will be our Bible Buddy & he will teach us that God is
love! Fear Not! (if you attend, you may feel like Christmas came just
a bit early…..but just for one day!!!)
We will need some helpers for this day.
See Shari, or sign up in the narthex if you are available to help!

CHOIR MEMBERS! The annual choir picnic will be held at Paul’s cottage
on Saturday, August 8. Come anytime after 1:00 pm with dinner at
5:00 pm. The main Course, table service, and beverages will be
provided. Each family is asked to bring a dish to pass. Sign up today
in the narthex! If you are thinking of joining the choir in the fall, you
will want to attend this great event….maps are available on the table.

CHURCH PLANT AT GRACE – The Mission/Outreach Team along with the
Consistory are continuing researching and praying about God’s will
for a church plant. Many of you have questions, so a question &
answer flyer is being prepared but we would like your input! Please
write your questions that you have on a piece of paper and place in
the box in the narthex during the next few weeks.

NEEDED – A small kitchen table…please contact the church office if you
have one available. Thank you!

The Prayer and Praise Line is a way to let our Grace Congregation
know about your prayer needs and praise reports.


Pray for God’s wisdom and leading, not our personal desires.

Praise God for…
• A time for vacation, rest, and renewal!
• The singing of birds, fragrance of flowers, warm breezes, beautiful
skies, and all God’s marvelous creation!
• God’s constant presence in our lives!
• Christian friends and our church family!
• The many jobs that we do have!
• Being able to worship God today!

Prayers for…
• The upcoming VBS Reunion on Monday, August 17.
• The prayer walks taking place in our community
• God’s blessing on the upcoming fall activities
• Jim Friar following surgery
• Christy Kleymeer as she seeks the best course of treatment
• Al Grimm, who has returned home
• Desmond Munsell, a visitor to Grace, who underwent brain surgery
• Family and friends of our Grace congregation who have special needs
at the present time including: Gretchen Stauffer, Wilma Osterink
(Wilma is now at Trillium Hospice Center in Byron Center)
