prayer needs that you would like to share, an Elder will be available
in the front of the sanctuary following the service this morning.

A warm welcome to our visitors and members alike during this season of Advent. As we

prepare ourselves to celebrate again the coming of our Lord, let us affirm the joy Christ brought

to the world. May such joy live within us as we worship the Lord. Please take a moment and

sign the Fellowship Register as it is passed so we can get to know you better!

 TODAY AT GRACE

TODAY we welcome Lynnelle Pierce and her husband Tom to our
worship service this morning. Lynnelle has been in full time ministry
for 26 years. She is a traditional/gospel vocalist and is the author of
4 books. Thank you for being with us today and sharing your
testimony in song!


CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 years meet in Room 1 in the Discovery
Kids hallway with Worship Leaders Samantha & Lisa
Johnson. Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room
with Worship Leaders Elaine Martin & Gracia Class.
You will be dismissed during the offering time.


11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes
available for all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is
available for those children under the age of three.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
Spiritual Warfare in the Old Testament – Brad Class will lead this
group in the Chapel.
You Were Shaped For Serving God – Meet at the Crossing.


7:00 – 10:00 PM INDEED HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP – Year end party.
We will have a picture scavenger hunt, great food, and fun! Meet at
the Crossing.

 PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS – Irene Polderman was able to return to her home
on Thursday. Keep Irene in your prayers this week as well as those
listed on the Prayers and Praise Line today.

IN APPRECIATION – Thank you so much for all the visits, cards, prayers,
calls, words of encouragement, & meals brought in during the time
of our hospitalization. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

9:00 AM – 1:00 PM BEING THE HANDS – Volunteers meet at
church. Help by purchasing gifts for the “Being the Hands”
program at DeVos Children’s Hospital! We are in need of
gifts for older youth and adults. Gifts of any amount are
appreciated. Please bring your gifts by December 13. Drop
them off in Nikki’s office or in the narthex by the carving.

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue the series of Advent messages
“OUT OF THIS WORLD”. Next Sunday’s message is “While You Were
Working…God in a Field ~ The Shepherd’s View of Christmas.

OUR SENIOR CHOIR will present the Christmas Cantata “BORN A SAVIOR,
BORN A KING” during our morning worship service.

6:00 PM CHILDRENS CHRISTMAS PROGRAM – Celebrate the birth of
Christ with all the nations! CHRISTMAS AROUND THE
WORLD is a celebration of the birth of Jesus as seen through the
eyes of children from other countries. Come and hear from our
children the wonder and excitement of the Savior’s birth.
PARENTS OF CHILDREN PRESCHOOL – 5TH GRADE – Please note that
there are two practices this coming week for the Christmas
Program. Wednesday, December 13 from 6:45 – 8:00 pm and
Saturday, December 16 from 11:00 – 12 Noon. See Judy Beadle if
you have any questions.

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

ATTENTION LADIES!! The Beth Moore Women’s Bible Study will be
having a Christmas Party/Cookie Exchange this Wednesday,
December 13 at 6:45 pm. EVERY woman is invited, regardless of
whether or not you’ve come to Bible study. We just ask that you
bring 5 dozen of the SAME type of cookie in order to exchange for
others! Any questions, see Nikki Probst or Jennifer Moody. Hope to
see y’all there!

THE ADIC (Adult Drop In Center) at the Crossing on Thursdays will not
meet until after the 1st of the year. See you then!

NEW NURSERY SCHEDULES will soon be available. Many volunteers are
needed! Even if you can only help out a couple times per year, please
sign up on the narthex table! If you have helped in the past, there is
no need to sign up again…we will automatically schedule you.

CAROLING – The Dood Sunday School Class is sponsoring a church wide
caroling night on December 20th! Dinner will be provided for the
carolers at 5:30 pm and caroling to begin at 6:30 pm returning to
church by 8 pm. Please sign up in the narthex if you plan to attend!

MISSION OPPORTUNITY – Grace will take part in another hurricane relief
work trip next spring! We will be going to McComb, Mississippi on
April 21-28, 2007! Reformed Church World Service is partnering
with Southwest Mississippi Recovery Network to send work groups
to help in construction repairs to damaged homes and cleanup.
Check your last Galaxy for more details, or, ask Shari. A sign up is in
the narthex. Please prayerfully consider this opportunity to serve.

ADDRESSES OF FORMER PASTORS, SHUT-IN’S and those who are
currently ill are available on the narthex table for those who would
like to send Christmas cards.

ALASKA CHALLENGE – Team Kickoff Meeting on January 7 following
church! If you have any questions, or are interested in joining the
team, contact Shari Dood or Ray & Robin Zondervan.

BEING THE HANDS- Thursday, December 14th – Gifts due by Wednesday,
December 13. Drop them off in Nikki’s office or in the narthex near
the carving. See the announcements in the Calendar of the Week for
more details.

HOLIDAY BASKETS for CHRISTMAS – Sign up to provide a Holiday Basket
for a family at Christmas. You can provide just the food for a holiday
meal or you may also include gifts. TODAY IS THE DEADLINE TO
SIGN UP. See Shari if you have any questions.
