Prayers & Praise Line

December 15, 2013

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God today for our children. We pray that they will each come to know, love and serve our great God.
  • We are so thankful today for Heather Dood and her love and dedication to the children.
  • We pray for those who are hurting this holiday season. May they feel the love of God surround them.
  • We pray for the plans that are being made to host an Alpha Class here at Grace in January. We pray for Rowin & Rachel Mulder as they lead this process. We pray God’s leading as we think of persons we can invite. Please pray that people’s hearts will be open to our invitations.
  • There are many friends and family of our church members that need your prayers this week. Please continue to pray for Jennifer Kirkse, granddaughter of Mary Huizen, as she battles cancer. Also, Barb, friend of Della Sawyer, undergoing chemotherapy, and Jon Stouten after being diagnosed with Crohns disease.
  • Continue to keep Tobiah Wiese, newborn grandson of Betty Homes, in your prayers. He is improving a bit, but continues to have difficulty with eating. He had a hearing test this past week which will help them know the extent of his hearing loss.
  • We thank and praise God that Luke Dieffenbach, father of Juel Grevenstuk, is doing well enough to be able to return home before Christmas.
  • We continue to lift up Lola De Young and her family in our prayers. Pray for healing, strength, and encouragement for Lola and Matt & Lindsey.
  • We pray for all those who are serving in the military this holiday season as many are away from their homes and family. Continue to keep Amie Pierce in your prayers as she is stationed at Fort Riley in Kansas.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mr. Ralph Bolt, Mrs Tena DeVink,

Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Ruth

Ver Merris.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praise reports
