ELDERS INVITATION - If you have questions, concerns, joys, or
prayer needs that you would like to share, an Elder will be available
in the front of the sanctuary following the service this morning.

Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leaders Janna Emelander & Sue Stuk.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leaders Heather Dood and Pat Ter Beek.

“A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR GRACE” FUND DRIVE – Today, as well as next
Sunday, we will receive your gift for our special fund drive. Extra
envelopes are available on the narthex table if you still need one. We
are thankful to Peter & Pat Cook who have offered to make up half of
our deficit by years end if the congregation will make up the other
half. This is a wonderful opportunity to “double” your gift. See
Treasurer Jayme Dood if you have any questions.

NEXT SUNDAY Darrell Delaney will lead our service and share the
message. OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of December is
designated for LOVE INC. We are very fortunate to get many of our
snacks for Club 3:16 from Love Inc. This special offering will be
received next Sunday.


HEALTH CONCERNS –Irene Polderman is hospitalized at Butterworth
after suffering a severe heart attack. Please keep Irene and her
family in your prayers. See the Prayers & Praise Line for all the
other praise reports and prayer concerns.

IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to Peter & Pat Cook for the contribution
of the beautiful poinsettia in the sanctuary this holiday season.

THE FOLLOWING PERSONS were elected to serve on the Consistory
beginning in January 2008:
ELDER: Dennis Bush, Stan De Witt, Rick Postema
DEACON: Lon Gerbers, Dan Stuk, Pat Ter Beek
The names of the elected are printed in order that any legitimate
objections may be presented to the Board of Elders for its judgment
prior to installation and ordination of these persons.

ORDINATION & INSTALLATION of newly elected Consistory members will
take place on January 6.


2008 CONTRIBUTION ENVELOPES are in your mailboxes. ALL
communicant members have been assigned envelopes. If you are
not a member, but would like envelopes, please contact the office.

YEAR END CONTRIBUTIONS – Persons desiring offerings contributed to
their 2007 record should submit their final contribution no later than
December 30.

THESSALONIANS I BIBLE STUDY GROUP – The next small group meeting
has been moved to Thursday, January 10 at 7:00 pm.

THESSALONIANS II BIBLE STUDY GROUP – Your next meeting will be held
on Wednesday, January 9 at 9:00 am in the Consistory Room.

THE NEXT GALAXY will soon be published. Articles are due by January 4.
You can place your articles in the bin attached to the file cabinet in
the main office, or contact Pat Ter Beek or Sandy Gort.
