Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leader Lisa Braendle & Greeter Hennie Rosema.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leader Sandy Farris & Greeter Chelsea Boeve.

11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes available for
all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
“Creeds and Confessions” – Brad Class will lead this group in the
Chapel.
“Surrendering: Your Life for God’s Pleasure” - meet at the Crossing.

4:30 PM CHOIR MEMBERS – Please be at Beverly Ref. Church to practice
for the evening service.

6:00 PM COMMUNITY ADVENT PRAISE SERVICE at Beverly Reformed
Church, 2141 Porter, Wyoming. The churches participating this year
include: Beverly, Eighth, Faith, Grace, Lee Street CRC, Rogers
Heights CRC, and St. John Vianney Catholic Church. The service will
consist of Scripture readings, carol singing, and selections from each
church choir. At the close of worship, there will be two mass choir
numbers, including the Hallelujah Chorus. Join us for this special
musical beginning to Advent.

IN APPRECIATION – Dear Grace Family, You have blessed me beyond
measure with your love, generous food gifts, beautiful plants and
flower arrangements, the special visits, calls and cards. It’s hard to

CONGRATULATIONS are extended to Sean & Michelle Van Essen upon the
birth of a daughter, Dagny Eileen, on Monday, November 12.

beginning in January 2008:

The names of the elected are printed in order that any legitimate
objections may be presented to the Board of Elders for its judgment
prior to installation and ordination of these persons.

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

CHURCH HERALD – Due to action at the Congregational Meeting, we will
NOT be participating in the all church plan of subscribing to the
Church Herald. If you wish to continue receiving the Church Herald,
you must renew it yourself.

WYOMING CHRISTMAS STORE – All gifts should be in today. If that is not
possible, please bring them to church by Tuesday. 

MAKING THE BUDGET – We are glad to announce that Peter & Pat Cook
have graciously offered to make up half of our deficit by years end if
the congregation will make up the other half. We are appreciative for
this challenge. In response we are initiating a fund drive called
“A Christmas Gift for Grace.” Special envelopes will be
distributed next Sunday and received back on December 23 & 30.

BEING THE HANDS PROGRAM – December 12 from 9-1 (Volunteers meet
at church). Gifts can still be purchased for this program at DeVos
Children’s Hospital. Needed are gifts for older youth and adults.
Gifts of any amount are appreciated. Extra helpers are still welcome
to join us! See Shari ASAP if you would like to help.

NEW NURSERY SCHEDULES will be put together soon! Many volunteers
are needed. Even if you can only help a couple times a year, please
sign up on the narthex table. If you have helped in the past, there is
no need to sign up again…we will automatically schedule you. Please
Note: All nursery workers High School age and above must have
attended a meeting on the Child Protection Policy. Another meeting
will be planned soon.


PRAISES 4 HIM, a Southern Gospel Quartet, now has a CD available for
purchase. As you know, Ben Van Kammen, is a member of that
Group and a former member of Grace. If you are interested in
purchasing a CD, contact Ben or we have some available in the
church office.

Praise God for…
• The birth of Dagny Eileen, daughter of Sean & Michelle Van Essen
• Our teachers & leaders
• Our Health

Prayers for…
• Laura Groenenboom (Venenga), oldest daughter of John and Judy
Venenga, after being diagnosed with cancer. She had chemo but it has
come back and now it is in several new spots. She will be starting
radiation and a new chemo drug. Laura has two teenage children,
Jonathon & Ellie, and her husband Dan.
• Jonathan McGuire (Esther Hoag’s grandson) who was hospitalized
this week with an infection in his eye
• Karen Ver Hulst as she continues to recover
• All others recovering from recent surgeries and hospitalizations
• Carol Lankheet as she has begun a new experimental chemotherapy
treatment this past week
• Nancy Lipscomb who was rushed back to the hospital and is now in ICU after an infection
• Rick & Laura Marshall as they go through the adoption process
• Tarah Fron and the August Team at IICD Dowagiac as they prepare
for an International Trip to Africa
