“A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR GRACE” FUND DRIVE – We will receive your gift
for our special fund drive today. You may place your envelope in the
regular offering plate today, or bring it forward and place it in the gift
box following the service.

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of December is designated for
LOVE INC. We are very fortunate to get many of our snacks for
Club 3:16 from Love Inc. This special offering will be received today.

NO SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES or EVENING WORSHIP SERVICE today!

 PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS –Irene Polderman continues at Butterworth
after suffering a heart attack. John Schoolenberg was admitted to
Blodgett Hospital on Wednesday. Arlene Dekker was a patient at
St. Mary’s to undergo some testing. See the Prayers & Praise Line
for all the other praise reports and prayer concerns.

IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to all the adults and children who came
Christmas caroling to our home. It was so uplifting and really
meant so much to us! ~Ron & Carole Lankheet

Thanks to everyone who brought cards, gifts, and meals to the
Delaney household. We truly appreciate the support and prayers of
everyone in the church and we thank God for you all!

 PREPARATORY SUNDAY

NEXT SUNDAY ORDINATION & INSTALLATION of newly elected Consistory
members will take place. Pastor Rick will share the message “Pride,
the Root of Vice”. This will begin a series on “The Seven Deadly
Sins”. Sunday School classes will resume.

NEXT SUNDAY EVENING Pastor Rick will begin a study entitled “From the
Old to the New to You” where we discover Christ in the Old
Testament and in our lives as well. 

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

2008 CONTRIBUTION ENVELOPES are in your mailboxes. ALL
communicant members have been assigned envelopes. If you are
not a member, but would like envelopes, please contact the office.

THESSALONIANS I BIBLE STUDY GROUP – The next small group meeting
has been moved to Thursday, January 10 at 7:00 pm. Note the date
and time change!

THESSALONIANS II BIBLE STUDY GROUP – Your next meeting will be held
on Wednesday, January 9 at 9:00 am in the Consistory Room.

THE NEXT GALAXY will soon be published. Articles are due by January 4.
You can place your articles in the bin attached to the file cabinet in
the main office, or contact Pat Ter Beek or Sandy Gort.
