OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of December is designated for the
GRACE MISSION FUND. Many different opportunities exist right here
at Grace! This special offering will be received this morning.
NO EVENING SERVICE will be held at Grace tonight.
PRAYERS & PRAISE
HEALTH CONCERNS – Jan VanWyk is doing quite well following a
liver transplant on Christmas afternoon. For updates on Jan, you
can go online to carepages.com. Sign in and type the patient name
janicevanwyk (no spaces). You can then view the daily update and
send messages to the family. Lucille Sytsema is now at Mary Free
Bed Hospital for rehabilitation following back surgery. Bill
Te Ronde is now at the Heartland Health Center on the East
Beltline. Please keep all these families in your prayers this week.
OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to the family of Mildred
Nevins who passed away on Wednesday, December 27th at the age of
86. Services were held Saturday with Pastor Rick officiating.
IN APPRECIATION – Dear Grace Family, Thank you so much for your
special offering for CenterPoint Church! We are so blessed to have
such faithful partners in the gospel! With your help we are able to
get the site plan at our property done so that we can get the zoning
approved and the sale final. Thank you for your support and

NEXT WEEK – JANUARY 7, 2007
NEXT SUNDAY INSTALLATION & ORDINATION of newly elected Elders and
Deacons will take place. Pastor Rick will share the message. Sunday
School classes will resume.
ALASKA CHALLENGE – Team Kickoff Meeting following church! If you
have any questions, or are interested in joining the team, contact
Shari Dood or Ray & Robin Zondervan.
CLUB 3:16 VOLUNTEERS – A TRAINING MEETING will take place on
Tuesday, January 9 at 7:30 pm here at church. If you have any
advice, suggestions, comments, etc. incorporated into this meeting,
BROOMBALL – Grace Reformed Church Youth have challenged Keith
Benthin of New Life Lakeshore Church and will play broomball from
7:30 – 9:00 pm on Saturday, February 10 at Griffs Ice House. Cost is
$5.00 to play, $5.00 for pizza, and we ask for $5.00 for the Alaska
Challenge trip this summer (Optional). All HS youth, parents, Club
3:15 High School students are welcome afterwards for pizza
fellowship with the New Life group at the Crossing.
NEW WORDS OF HOPE DEVOTIONAL BOOKLETS are now available in the
narthex and also on the sound desk. Also available in the narthex is
the Words of Hope 2007 Annual Report.
ELDERS & DEACONS will meet on Monday, January 8 at 6:30 pm. Elders
& Deacons will meet separately for orientation, followed by a brief
orientation meeting for Consistory at 7:30 pm.
PRAISE TEAM – Next practice is Monday January 15 @ 7:00 pm.
NEW NURSERY SCHEDULE – Please sign up to help TODAY so new
schedules can be put together. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
KIDS-COMING ON WEDNESDAYS beginning in January…ARCTIC ANTICS –
RESCUE 911..it promises to be a great new way to learn about Jesus
and salvation! NEEDED will be one teacher and 1 helper willing to
commit to teaching just 2 lessons for the month of January,
February, and March – 6 persons total (each committing to only
2 weeks). All materials and curriculum will be provided! See Darrell!
MISSION OPPORTUNITY – We will be going to McComb, Mississippi on
April 21-28, 2007! We’ve had a great response – 14 people have
already signed up…let’s see if we can make it 20! See Shari if you
have any questions.
YEAR END CONTRIBUTIONS – Persons desiring offerings contributed to
their 2006 contribution record should submit their final contribution
no later than today.
