Prayers & Praise Line

December 7, 2014

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We praise God today for the Professions of Faith of Julia Grant, Sharon Sawyer, and Sandra Sorenson.
  • We pray for Andrew, Jacob, and Lily Sawyer as they have been baptized today.  We pray for God’s hand of love to be upon them.
  • We thank God today for Grandparents, many of whom have led the way, teaching us and our children by example and with love.
  • We thank God for the many people who have purchased gifts and volunteered to work in the Christmas store yesterday.  We pray that those who came would see the love of God working through us.
  • Please be in prayer for “Being the Hands” taking place at De Vos Children’s Hospital Tuesday.
  • We pray for the families and children that come to The Crossing.  We pray for Heather as she leads them.
  • Please pray for Pastor George and Connections. We thank God for the lives that are touched by this ministry.
  • Continue to keep MaryLynn Huizen in your prayers as she has entered into hospice care.
  • We continue to lift up Earl & Clare Reifel and the people they serve in West Africa as they battle the effects of the Ebola crisis there.
  • Continue to keep Lola De Young and her parents, Matt & Lindsey, in your prayers.
  • We pray for all those who are serving in the military.  We think of them during this holiday season as many of them celebrate far from family and friends.  In particular we pray today for Amie Pierce serving in Kuwait.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mr. Ralph Bolt, Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs. MaryLynn Huizen, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs Ruth Ver Merris.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praise reports.
