DISCOVERY KIDZ will not meet today. All children are welcome

 to sit with their parents in the sanctuary.  Children’s bulletins are

 available at the sound board. 

 

THANK YOU to our Praise Team and Senior Choir, and to all those

 who had a special part in our Easter Celebration today.  Your efforts

 are very much appreciated!

 

OUR EASTER SPECIAL OFFERING is designated for Camp

 Scholarships to Cran Hill  Ranch or Camp Geneva that can assist

 families of our Discovery Kidz  that may need assistance.

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

PRAYERS & PRAISE

 

HEALTH CONCERNS –  Please be in prayer for Mary Huizen after a

 fall down the stairs last week.  She is very sore and bruised, but

 suffered no broken bones.  She is staying at her daughter Joy’s home

 for a time.  For all prayer requests and praise reports, see the Prayers

 & Praise Line in your bulletin today.

 will honor Paul Kerkstra, our Music Director for his 60 years of

 service to Grace Church!  The Veterans from the VETS facility will

 also be our guests.  Invite a friend and join us for this special service.

 

Sunday, June 1, 10:00 am GRADUATION SUNDAY.  We will honor

 our Discovery Kidz Graduates as well as those graduating from High

 School or College.

 

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

YOUTH NEWS – Parents, Grandparents, and all other interested

 persons…if you would like to receive news about youth programs via

 email, please email heather at heather@gracewyoming.org to get on

 the list. 

 

DISCOVERY KIDZ needs volunteers for the May rotation.  Still

 needed are teachers for Art, Cooking and 4 Shepherds.  This is only a

 3 week rotation.

 

SPECIAL OFFERING – Our Special Offering for the Month of April is  

 designated for the Gideons. This offering will be received on April 27.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

 

  • We thank and praise God for the opportunity and privilege to worship this Easter Sunday.
  • We thank God today for the gift of music.  We are thankful for our Praise Team, Senior Choir and director, Paul Kerkstra.
  • We pray for those who may be searching for something more in their lives that they may find it in the risen Christ!
  • We pray today for Mary Huizen as she heals following a fall.
  • We also lift up in prayer Sandy Gort following surgery.  May her healing be quick and complete. 
  • Pray for Anna Borkowski as she awaits test results. 
  • There are many friends and family of our church members that need your prayers this week.  Please continue to pray for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey.  Also, Barb, friend of Della Sawyer, undergoing chemotherapy, Rose Borkowski, mother of Anna, who has discovered a tumor in her throat and Julie, friend of Anna, whose husband has brain cancer; Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer; and Caitlin, friend of Abbey Licari, diagnosed with Leukemia.
  • We pray for all those who are serving in the military.  Continue to keep Amie Pierce in your prayers as she is stationed at Fort Riley in Kansas. 
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mr. Ralph Bolt, Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Ruth Ver Merris.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praise reports.
