 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

TODAY following the morning service, a Town Hall style meeting will

 be held to hear the vision of the Connections Ministry. See the insert

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue the series of messages

 entitled: “God’s Pictures” with the message: “The Feast of

 Unleavened Bread”.

 

A MISSION TRIP PLANNING meeting will be held following the

 morning service next Sunday. We will be meeting in the Chapel.

SPECIAL DATES TO REMEMBER

 

Tuesday, February 19, 10:00 pm THE ELIZABETH CIRCLE will

 meet in the Consistory room. We will discuss Psalm 73, Chapter 10

 in the book Psalms. All women are welcome.

 

Saturday, March 30 - ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT! Please sign

 up in the narthex if you are willing to disperse eggs, work prize

 tables, or greet.
 

June 10-13 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - Mark your calendar! 

 Sign -ups will begin in March!

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

CHECK YOUR MAILBOX TODAY for “Grace News”! It’s a

 packet of information containing a letter from Pastor Rick, “A Five

 Year Plan”, and the Inn Crowd Stories.

 

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of February is designated

 for the re-building work to be done following Hurricane Irene and

 Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast. More detailed information will

 be given next Sunday.

 

Toilet Paper COLLECTION for FNOW Feb. 17 – March 24 

 Toilet Paper is once again needed at Family Network of Wyoming, so  

 that a family can receive more than one roll a month. Our toilet

 paper goal is 1,250 rolls of toilet paper during this time frame. IF we

 meet this goal, a donor has agreed to give cake for coffee time on

 Easter Sunday morning following the worship service! Watch for

 sales and give as you are blessed! Thank you in advance!

 

DONATIONS NEEDED FOR DISCOVERY KIDZ: Fabric scraps

 buttons, and paper bags are needed for March rotation..please drop

 off at youth desk. Also looking for a mailbox...have an old mailbox

 sitting in your garage? See Ms. Heather!

 

2013 MISSION WORK TRIP TO STUMPY POINT, NC

 Is God calling you to be part of a group from Grace who will go help

 families who are still without homes following Hurricane Irene in

 August of 2011? The date for the work trip is April 21-27. (Plus travel

 time.) There is a flyer on the table in the narthex with more details. 

 Space is limited (unless we send 2 groups) so please sign up on the

 sheet in the narthex if you would like to be part of this mission

 outreach! Planning meeting will be held next Sunday morning.

 Tentative church dinner will be March 3 to raise funds.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • Please keep Marge Veldheer’s son, Randy, in your prayers following surgery.
  • We ask for prayers for all those who have been sick this winter with pneumonia or the flu. 
  • Please lift up Rowin Mulder’s brother and family in your prayers. 
  • Please continue to pray for Connections. See the intercessors prayer letter on the narthex table and come to the Town Hall meeting today to hear more.
  • Please continue to pray for God to use Common Connections (Connections small groups) to connect neighbors.
