ELDERS INVITATION If you have questions, concerns, joys, or

 prayer needs that you would like to share, please see the Pastor or

 an Elder today.  Elders will be greeting at the doors as you leave the

 sanctuary this morning and they are also listed on the back of your

 bulletin.  You may also make a notation on the Fellowship Register.



A warm welcome to our visitors and members alike.  We rejoice at the

joy Christ brought to the world so long ago.  May such joy live within

us as we worship the Lord.  Please take a moment and sign your name

and address on the Fellowship Register as it is passed today.





9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ will meet.  All kids ages

 3 years – 5th grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 


A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.


THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL class will meet in the Consistory

 Room following the morning worship service.  They cover various

 subject matter using the Sunday School Guide. 


SUNDAYS AT SIX – We will be meeting at Grace for our evening

 service tonight through the end of April.  Rev. Harvey Hertz will be 

 sharing the message.


6:00 PM Y-LIFE BIG Mission Trip REVEAL!!! Meet at the

 Crossing.  Dinner will be provided!




HEALTH CONCERNS: Please continue to keep Dick Postema in your

 prayers as he is at Blodgett Hospital.  Sally Herrema was moved to

 Breton Manor for therapy. We pray for quick healing.  For all prayer

 requests and praise reports, please see the Prayer & Praise line today.


IN APPRECIATION – Dear Grace Family, I want to thank my

 “Grace Family” for your prayers and cards that you sent my way

 following my hand surgery.  It is wonderful to know the Great

 Healer!  My prayer continues as I trust I will regain the use of my

 fingers within a few months. Thanks again!

 Dear Friends, We are happy to report that Fred is recuperating

 nicely and he is very happy to be doing that in Arizona.  Thank you

 the evening classes!

 “Crown Him With Many Crowns”.

 6:45 – 8:00 PM GEMS, VICTORS, and BE BIG will meet.

 7:00 – 8:00 PM ADULTS

 This upcoming week we will be discussing the chapter "We

 Don't Have to Say So" (chapter 17) in Lewis Smedes' book "The

 Art of Forgiving - When You Need to Forgive and Don't Know

 How."  We would love to have you join us!  If you need a book

 or study guide, please let Lorinda know.




NEXT SUNDAY we will celebrate the 120th ANNIVERSARY of

 Ministry at Grace Reformed Church!  Please plan to join us and invite

 any former members that you may be in touch with as well.  Pastor

 Rick will continue the People’s Choice Sermon Series with the

 message “Holy Moments”. 


A NEW MEMBERS BELONGING CLASS will begin next Sunday,

 February 19 from approximately 11:15 – 12:00 noon in Pastor Rick’s

 office.  This is a class for people who would like to know more about

 a relationship with Christ, what it means to belong to the church and

 how one can join the church. This class will last for 5 sessions. 


SUNDAYS AT SIX – Plan to join here at Grace with our sister

 churches Faith and Beverly for our evening service!




Monday, February 20, 6:30 pm ELDERS will meet.

 7:30 pm CONSISTORY meeting.


Tuesday, February 21, 1:00 pm – The ELIZABETH CIRCLE will meet

 in the Consistory room.  We will discuss Lesson 3 in the study book

 Jonah.  All Women are welcome.


Wednesday, February 22, 5:30 – 7:00 pm - GEMS, VICTORS AND

 BE BIG are heading to REBOUNDERS.  If you need a ride, meet

 At church at 5:00 pm and we will be back at 8:00.  Reminder all

 preschool children need a parent or guardian to attend with them

 unless cleared with Ms. Heather. A waiver on-line must be completed

 prior to February 22nd at  Pizza will be

 provided at Rebounders. All parents are welcome. No dinner will be

 provided at Grace on the 22nd.




OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of February is designated

 for WORDS OF HOPE.  This offering will be received on February 26. 


NEEDED - someone to lead devotions and supervise at THE 

 CROSSING on February 28th from 3:00-5:30 pm.  Devotion will

 be provided.


DISCOVERY KIDZ- Volunteers needed for February still. Please sign 

 up in the narthex.  Also, sign-ups for March, April & May are out.

 Please prayerfully consider being a volunteer in Discovery Kidz.

Prayers & Praise Line

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank God today for his great unfailing love for us as well as the love of our family and friends. 
  • We are thankful today for our church, for Pastor Rick Oppenhuizen and the other leaders here at Grace.
  • We are thankful today for our Discovery Kidz!  We thank Heather Dood for all she does with the youth groups at Grace and the Crossing.  We pray for Heather as she continues her studies to become a Commissioned Pastor.
  • We thank God for the ministry of Connections.  We pray for Pastor George as he leads them each week.  We thank God for the lives that are touched by this ministry.
  • We pray for those who have recently lost loved ones.  In particular the family of Geri Ruis.  We thank God for her life and testimony and her eternal life in heaven.
  • Continue to keep Dick Postema in your prayers.  We pray that he is able to return to his home very soon.
  • Please be in prayer for Sally Herrema as she heals and undergoes therapy at Breton Manor.
  • We thank and praise God for good reports that Fred Hiemstra is doing well in his recovery from heart surgery. 
  • Be in prayer for Esther Hoag who continues to have problems with her fingers.  Also please pray for Esther’s sister who suffered a stroke and is now at Mary Free Bed Hospital.
