IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to our Grace family for the prayers,
cards, and visits during my long convalescence. Special thanks to
Pastor Rick, our daughter Karla, and son Jack. We know that it
was your prayers that brought us through this ordeal. We can
never thank you enough – we turn to God in prayer daily. We thank
God that Ila is improving. In God’s Love, Ila & Jim Friar
A big thank you to the GEMS and their leaders for a special
valentine and gift that the girls made with the help of their leaders!

A NEW MEMBERS CLASS will begin on March 1. This class will run for 6
weeks during the Sunday School hour. If you would like to learn
more about having a relationship with Jesus and His church or
would like to make Profession of Faith, this class will enable you, but
not obligate you to do so. Sign up in the narthex! See Shari Dood if
you have any questions.
COOKIES will be provided for you following the morning service for the
month of February! Donations will be accepted for the GRACE
MISSION TRIP to New Orleans in April!
THE GRACE BUILDING FUND DRIVE CONTINUES! You can put your gift
envelope in the offering plate or designate it on your budget
envelope. Our goal is to raise $120,000.00 towards this effort.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support!
COLLECTION OF BOOKS – We have received a request from the Deacon
Center that Forgotten Man Ministries is in need of paperback
religious books focusing primarily on Christian living, marriage,
parenting, and self help. The jail library is normally stocked with
these books and they are distributed weekly throughout the facility by
Chaplains. If you have books that you have already read and would
like to donate to inmates in the Kent County Jail, please deposit them
in the box in the narthex. (This is a great way to clean out your
bookshelves and closets!)
MISSION WORK PROJECT – For the week of April 19, Grace will be
sending a group of volunteers to the New Orleans Blitz Build! In
short, this is a 9 denominational effort to totally rehabilitate and
finish 12 homes that are still standing idle following Hurricane
Katrina and Rita in 2005. Funds are being supplied by each of these
9 denominations…in our case by the RCWS. We have already begun
projects to raise funds for this trip and others are in the making. This
is open to any adult in the congregation (limit of 15) so if you are
interested, please sign the sheet in the narthex to reserve your spot.
See the letter inserted in your bulletin today for more details!
ACTION Wyoming is sponsoring a free showing of the movie “The
