TODAY AT GRACE

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET.  All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

 THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS will meet in the

 Consistory Room following the morning service today.  This class

 covers various subject matter pertaining to our Christian walk. 

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

 

“BELONGING” - NEW MEMBERS CLASS will continue in Pastor

 Rick’s office following the morning service.  There is still time to join

 this class if you are interested in knowing more about the Reformed

 Church in America, Grace Reformed Church, and how one might

 consider becoming a member. 

 

PRAYERS & PRAISE

 

HEALTH CONCERNS –  Lorie Norden is home and has begun rehab

 following knee replacement surgery.  For all other Prayer Requests

 and Praise Reports, see the Prayer Line in your bulletin today.

 

IN APPRECIATION:  IF: Women's Gathering Wyoming and Connections

 wants to thank Grace for the use of the Crossing building this past

 weekend. It provided the perfect comfortable setting for a dozen women

 to experience the national conference via video feed. Tymie was so

 hospitable in preparing the space and providing the little extras that felt

 caring and thoughtful. (ie hand sanitizers, table coverings, tissues, etc...)

 Room to discuss Isaiah 38 & 39, Chapter 11 in the study book. 

 All women are invited.

 THE CROSSING (Club 3:16) will not meet today do to mid winter

 break! 

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2015

 3:45 – 5:45 or 8:00 PM  THE CROSSING (Club 3:16) for

 youth in Grades 3 & 4 will meet.

 

WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE! 

6:00 PM FELLOWSHIP DINNER

The rumors are true! We let ALL the kitchen staff have the week

off but no worries you are all in for a real treat!! The Crossing kids will be preparing a wonderful meal for you! I encourage you all to join

us as we have invited all the Wednesday Crossing families to join

their child and us for an evening of food and fellowship!
Oh and you all want to know what's for dinner?? Well that is a

 surprise that the kids wanted to keep-I promise you will not be disappointed! Any questions please contact Heather! 
 

 NO SENIOR CHOIR PRACTICE

 GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) for girls in

 grades K – 8th.

 VICTORS – For boys in grades K – 8th

 BE BIG – For Preschool children.  Meet in the Nursery!

 7:00 – 8:00 PM  ADULTS – Meet in the Consistory Room. 

 Wes Dekker will lead the class.  We will begin a new session

 studying II Corinthians.

 

NEXT WEEK, FEBRUARY 22, 2015

1ST SUNDAY IN LENT

NEXT SUNDAY – Pastor Rick will continue the “Bible in a Year” series

 with the message: “Learning from our History”.

 

5:00 PM COMBINED SERVICE AT BEVERLY Reformed Church. 

 We will join together with our sister churches to begin the season of

 Lent with a special service together.  

 

6:45 – 8:00 pm Y-LIFE WILL MEET.

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

PRAISE TEAM will practice on Monday, February 23 at 7:00 pm.

 

THE GEMS are collecting empty coffee cans for a project!  If you have

 any to donate, please bring them to the church kitchen.  Thanks!

 

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY invites you to the house dedication for

 the Reformed Build at 1015 Kensington SW today, Feb. 15, at 2:00.

 Please join the celebration with this family in their new home. 

 A few of our church family helped in this build.  An insert is placed in

 your bulletin today with a thank you from them.  Also THE

 SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of February is designated for

 HABITAT FOR HUMANITY. 

 

A TEAM FROM GRACE will go on a MISSION TRIP to

 JACKSON COUNTY MINISTRIES in Annville, KY– April 19-25. 

 They will hold an ALL CHURCH DINNER with roast beef and all

 the extras on Sunday, March 15 after the morning service.  This will

 be a fund raiser for the team.  There is still room for YOU!  If you are

 interested in going, see Shari Dood or Larry Kleymeer.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

 

  • Amie Pierce concluded her service in the Army this past week.  She will be moving to Nebraska to attend school.  We thank God for providing safety throughout her time of service.  We pray for God’s blessings and guidance as she begins a new chapter in her life.
  • We thank God today for our Discovery Kidz and for Ms. Heather as she leads them.
  • Pray today for Paul Kerkstra, our Minister of Music, as he takes a couple weeks of vacation.  We pray for safe travels and a time of rest and relaxation.
  • We pray for Pastor George today as he leads Connections.  We pray for all the people that attend.
  • We think today of the persons who are facing surgery in the coming days, or considering available treatments.  We pray for peace and assurance as they make their decisions.
  • We pray for Lorie Norden following knee replacement surgery.
  • Continue to keep Lola De Young and her parents, Matt & Lindsey, in your prayers.
