TODAY AT GRACE

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

ELDERS INVITATION If you have questions, concerns, joys, or

 prayer needs that you would like to share, please see the Pastor or

 an Elder today. Elders will be greeting at the doors as you leave the

 sanctuary this morning and they are also listed on the back of your

 bulletin. You may also make a notation on the Fellowship Register.

 

A MISSION TRIP PLANNING meeting for those interested in

 volunteering will be held following the morning service. Please meet

 in the Chapel.

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George and Connections.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in

2ND SUNDAY OF LENT

 

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue the series of messages

 entitled: “God’s Pictures” with the message: “The Feast of

 First Fruits”.

 

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of February is designated

 for the Grace volunteers who will be going to Stumpy Point, NC to

 join the rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Irene in August 2011. 

 More details are included on the flyer inserted in your bulletin today.

 This special offering will be received next Sunday.

 

6:00 PM THE LENTEN PULPIT EXCHANGE will begin. Pastor

 Mark Bergsma, Pastor at Unity Reformed Church will be with us and

 share the message. Pastor Rick will be preaching at Faith Reformed.

 

SPECIAL DATES TO REMEMBER

 

Saturday, March 30 - ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT! Please sign

 up in the narthex if you are willing to disperse eggs, work prize

 tables, or greet. If you have volunteered to bring candy for the eggs,

 please have it to church by March 10.
 

June 10-13 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - Mark your calendar! 

 Sign -ups will begin in March!

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

2013 MISSION WORK TRIP TO STUMPY POINT, NC

 April 21-27. (Plus travel time.) Space is limited, so if you are

 interested attend the meeting today or see Shari. There is a flyer on

 the table in the narthex with more details. 

 

Toilet Paper COLLECTION for FNOW Feb. 17 – March 24 

 Toilet Paper is once again needed at Family Network of Wyoming, so  

 that a family can receive more than one roll a month. Our toilet

 paper goal is 1,250 rolls of toilet paper during this time frame. IF we

 meet this goal, a donor has agreed to give cake for coffee time on

 Easter Sunday morning following the worship service! Watch for

 sales and give as you are blessed! Thank you in advance!

 

DONATIONS NEEDED FOR DISCOVERY KIDZ: Fabric scraps

 buttons, and paper bags are needed for March rotation..please drop

 off at youth desk. Also looking for a mailbox...have an old mailbox

 sitting in your garage? See Ms. Heather!

HOPE COLLEGE MUSICAL SHOWCASE – More than 200 Hope

 College students will be featured in the 25th Annual Musical

 Showcase concert on Monday, March 4 at 8:00 pm in the DeVos

 Performance Hall. Tickets are $10.00 each and are available through

 the Hope Ticket Office at 616-396-7890.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

 

  • We thank and praise God today for His great unfailing love for us.
  • We are so thankful today for the Discovery Kidz. We pray that they will have meaningful worship together. We pray for Ms. Heather as she leads them. 
  • Please be in prayer for Anna Borkowski as the Doctors seek to diagnose her pains and find a way to treat her.
  • Please lift up Rowin Mulder’s brother and family in your prayers. 
  • Please continue to pray for Connections. See the intercessors prayer letter on the narthex table.
  • Please continue to pray for God to use Common Connections (Connections small groups) to connect neighbors.
  • We remember in prayer the following family or friends of our members that are ill or receiving treatments: Lola De Young, Brian Benthin, and John Hoag, Randy Veldheer.
