 TODAY AT GRACE

TODAY is Youth Sunday! We thank Darrell Delaney and all our youth
and leaders for their part in the service today. We also thank
Christina Kleymeer for her music ministry this morning.

WE WELCOME the Cornerstone Hip Hop Worship Dance Team to our
worship service. Thank you for blessing us with your talents today!

NO CHILDREN & WORSHIP will be held today.

11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes available for
all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
Songs and Psalms – Brad Class will lead this group in the Chapel.
This week we will look at Psalm 8.
You Were Shaped For Serving God – Meet at the Crossing.

A NEW MEMBERS CLASS WILL BEGIN today during the Sunday School
hour. Just come to Pastor Rick’s office if you would like to learn more
about the Reformed church or if you would like to make Profession of
Faith.

who really want to dig in.

 NEXT WEEK – FEBRUARY 25, 2007 
 1ST SUNDAY OF LENT

PASTOR RICK will begin a series on Psalms for the Lenten journey.
Next Sunday’s message is entitled “The Pursuit of Happiness” from
Psalm 1.

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of February is designated for the
GIDEONS. The Gideons International serves as a missionary arm of
the church – every scripture they distribute is provided through the
support of local churches and individual Christians. The Gideons
distribute more than two copies of God’s Word every second! Our
special offering for the Gideons will be received next Sunday.

 PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS – Following a bit of a setback, Jan VanWyk was
moved off the therapy floor at the U of M Hospital temporarily.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers. She welcomes your
phone calls. The main hospital number is 734-936-4000, just ask
for Jan’s room. See the Prayers & Praise Line for more Praise
Reports and Prayer Concerns.

IN APPRECIATION – A special thank you to those who helped with the
RCA/Habitat work project this past Saturday. Thank you men
who help build the houses and thank you women who cooked and
served lunch to the workers.

THANKS TO ALL who came out to watch Grace take on New Life in
BROOMBALL last week! We won’t say who won…but a great time was
had by all (and no injuries!). Plan on a rematch next year!!

VBS IS COMING SOON! VOLUNTEERS are needed! Our theme this year is
“The Quest for Truth – Jesus: The Way, the Truth, and the Life”. Set
aside June 11-15th. Volunteer to help today by signing up in the
narthex.

PLEASE SAVE YOUR NEWSPAPERS – The Cadets will have a paper drive in
March. The trailer will be in the parking lot beginning March 5. If
you need any papers picked up contact Rick Veldheer at 453-8384.

LENTEN FOOD COLLECTION FEBRUARY 21 – APRIL 8. Details in your
mailbox.

SOFTBALL ANYONE?? I know that with all the cold and snow it’s hard to
imagine that spring is just around the corner, but with spring comes
softball season. Judging from the trophies in the hall, it appears we
used to have quite a team! Anyone interested in carrying on that
tradition this year with a co-ed team, please see Nikki or sign up in
the narthex.

HOPE COLLEGE MUSICAL SHOWCASE – More than 200 Hope College
students will be featured in the 19th Annual Musical Showcase
concert on Monday, March 5 at 8:00 pm in the De Vos Hall, Grand
Rapids. All of the college’s instrumental and vocal groups will be
performing. Tickets are $10.00 each and are available through the
De Vos Ticket Office at 616-395-7890.
