CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leaders Heather Dood and Tishana Delaney.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leaders Gracia Class & Pat Ter Beek.

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of February is designated for
CRAN HILL RANCH – “Move Forward in Faith” Capital Campaign. This
campaign is a 5 Phase undertaking with the 1st phase being Youth
Cabins/Family Camp Expansion. For more detailed information on
this project, go to their website www.cranhillranch.com. This
offering will be received today.

11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes available for
all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
The Book of Joshua – Join this class that meets in the Chapel!
“Surrendering: Your Life for God’s Pleasure” – Meet in Kia’s office.

3:00 – 5:00 PM STOP THE VIOLENCE YOUTH RALLY at Grace with
Dr. Joseph Jennings. See the insert in the bulletin today for all the

SUNDAYS AT SIX - MEET AT THE CROSSING! Tonight we welcome
Rev. Bruce Osbeck, Pastor of Faith Reformed Church, to our pulpit
during the Lenten Pulpit Exchange. Pastor Rick is preaching at
Beverly Reformed Church.

7:00 – 9:00 PM INDEED HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP will meet.

 PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS – Peter Cook was expected to return to his home
after undergoing surgery Thursday. Mary Haagsman was able to
return to her own apartment at Sunset Village – Room 3033 this
week. See the Prayers & Praise Line for all the praise reports and
prayer concerns.

CONGRATULATIONS are extended to Rachel Pence (Benthin) and
Andrew Crooks upon the birth of a son, Ayden Christopher, on
Wednesday, February 20. We thank God for this gift of life and
pray for His blessing on this child.

IN APPRECIATION – We would like to thank everybody for the cards
and prayers during Zack’s surgery and hospitalization. Also thank
you to Pastor Rick for the visit at the hospital.

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue the series on the Seven Deadly
Sins with the message: “Gluttony: Feeding Your Face, Starving
Your Heart” from Ephesians 5:1-20, Philippians 3:17-21.

SUNDAYS AT SIX – Rev. El Zwart, Pastor of Beverly Reformed
Church, will be with us and will share a Lenten message during the
Lenten Pulpit exchange. Pastor Rick will be preaching at Unity.

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

PAPER TOWEL AND TOILET PAPER ROLLS are needed for a Sunday School
project. Please save yours and bring to the church kitchen. Thanks!!

BROOMBALL – Grace Youth vs. Keith Benthin and the youth at New Life
Community Church Friday, March 14, 8 PM. Mark your calendar!


THE NEXT GALAXY will soon be published. Articles are due by February
29. Articles can be placed in the bin attached to the file cabinet or
given to Sandy Gort or Pat Ter Beek.

TACO BAR! Everyone mark their calendar for Wednesday, March
12th, 6:00 pm. This will be the last Wednesday Night Dinner as
well as the last night for regular Wednesday activities! Plan on a
great spread of delicious taco fixings and a great time for fellowship!

MISSION WORK TRIP – All those who plan on going, please attend an
informational potluck on March 9 following Sunday School. This
year we are going to Lake Charles in Louisiana the week of April 20
where we will be building a Habitat for Humanity home! The RCA is
sponsoring this trip so we are again able to use some of their funds
for traveling, accommodations and food. Sign up in the narthex to
bring a dish to pass. Questions, Contact Shari!

“SCHOOL KITS” Service Project for children in impoverished schools,
refugee camps, and other difficult settings in the world. You can help
by sewing cloth school bags and purchasing the specific needed
school items. See the yellow flyer on the table in the narthex for
exact details. This is a several month project, so be on the look out
for sales.

WESTOWN JUBILEE HOUSING is looking for individuals to renovate a
small home at 139 National SW this winter and spring. They do have
a construction supervisor to coordinate construction. If you are
interested in helping in this way, please contact Shari and she will set
it up with the person in charge. Basically, you can pick your own date
(doing what stage of the building is in progress), or project (doing it
in their time frame). If several of you want to go on the same date,
that can be arranged also. On the table in the narthex is a letter with
more details.

LOST AND FOUND – Several items are on the narthex table including
some jewelry. Check it out and see it there is anything you are
missing!

THE SINGING HIMS present a Celebration of Praise on March 16 at
8:00 PM at Rogers Heights CRC, 3025 Michael. There will be new
music, fellowship and celebration of His goodness. A freewill
offering will be taken.
