CHANGE FOR ALASKA
 How much change do you have in your pocket or purse?
 Are you willing to give it to help the persons going on the Alaska Challenge?
 Remember: Your little extra makes the extra difference for our trip!
 Here are the details:
In the narthex there are 2 jars. One jar is the Students Change for Alaska Jar. The other jar is the Adults Change for Alaska Jar. So, you have a choice as to whether you give your change to the students or adults. To make this more fun, we are adding an extra rule…if you put dollar bills in either jar, that amount will be subtracted from the total in that jar. That means, if you put a dollar bill in the adult jar, it will subtract dollars in the adult jar! If you are confused, check out the signs by the jars in the narthex! Please note that the money will be collected each week, so the total in the jars is not the total that you see. Results will be posted every so often so that you know where to put your cash (or dollars)! Have FUN!

ALASKA CHALLENGE PARTICIPANTS – We need your help in cooking
desserts for our dessert Sunday fundraiser. Please meet on March 3rd
and March 10 in the Fellowship Hall at 9:00 am to prepare such
desserts as pies, cakes, and breads. Please bring a mix and a throw
away pan. Everything else will be provided. If you have any
questions, contact Tymie or Kia (538-3100).

LOVE.FAITH.HOPE – CHRISTY KLEYMEER’S CD is still for sale and are now
priced at only $15.00! You can purchase one from Christy or her
parents. They are also available at Barnes & Nobles Bookstore and
other stores and businesses around town.

OUR YOUTH GROUPS are selling $5.00 coupon books to Yonkers.
The proceeds will go to the youth ministry account. These coupon
books are to be used on March 3, 2007, Community Day. When
you see the deals in the booklets, you will see that it more than pays
for itself! If you would like some, or would like to help distribute
them, see Darrell.

LENTEN FOOD COLLECTION FEBRUARY 21 – APRIL 8. Start bringing in
your donations! Collection boxes are by the narthex doors and the
doors downstairs.

MCCOMB MISSISSIPPI WORK TRIP: A couple of our people who were
scheduled to go on the Mississippi Work Trip, which leaves at 6 PM,
April 20 and returns late Saturday, April 28, are not able to do so
because of personal conflicts. So, there are 3 spots open for anyone
who would like to join us. Contact Shari if interested. Basically, the
trip does not cost you anything but what you eat in restaurants going
down and coming back. Note: There is a poster with pictures of the
Centenary House in the narthex. This is where our group will be
staying while in Mississippi! More details are coming soon.

VBS IS COMING SOON! “The Quest for Truth – Jesus: The Way, the Truth,
and the Life” – June 11-15. Ask God to bring children to hear the truth
of Jesus, who is the way, and the truth, and the life! Volunteer
recruitment has begun! Sign up today in the narthex.

CLUB 3:16 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We will be short of helpers from
March 13 – 27. Needed are volunteers on Tuesday (Middle School)
and Thursday (Elementary). Please see Nikki ASAP if you can
help. If we don’t have enough helpers, we will have to shut down
during this time. Thanks in advance for your help!

PLEASE SAVE YOUR NEWSPAPERS – The Cadets will have a paper drive in
March. The trailer will be in the parking lot beginning March 5. If
you need any papers picked up contact Rick Veldheer at 453-8384.

SCHOOL DAYS AT D & W – Designed to help support non-profit groups,
D & W will donate 5% of your total purchase to Grace Youth Groups.

25 – March 3. It’s that easy!! Tell your friends and family!

SOFTBALL ANYONE?? WE STILL NEED WOMEN and a few more men!
I know that with all the cold and snow it’s hard to imagine that spring
is just around the corner, but with spring comes softball season.
Please see Nikki or sign up in the narthex if you are interested.

A MEN’S WINTER JACKET was mistakenly taken two weeks ago. Possibly
someone with a similar coat picked up the wrong one. If you have a
