 PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS – See the Prayer and Praise Line for all the
prayer requests and praise reports.

IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to my church family for all the
cards, the cards from the Wednesday preschool class, flowers from
the Elizabeth Circle and meals! I really appreciate it all!
~Joan Patterson

Thank you for the cards, prayers, visits from Pastor Rick, meals,
and all the other acts of kindness shown during Al’s time at the Vet’s
facility, hospitalization and his homegoing. Thank you also to all
those who worked in the kitchen for the memorial service.

We are so grateful for your partnership with us and your generosity
in these uncertain times. Your gift of $1,591.00 is already hard at
work providing long-lasting insecticidal bed nets to protect children
and families from malaria for up to five years in the African Region.
May your life in the coming year reflect the same joy, hope and
happiness you’re helping to bring to hurting children and families
everywhere. ~Richard Stearns, President of World Vision

OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to Jim & Linda
Emelander and family upon the death of Jim’s sister, Connie Maile,

UPDATE ON OUR ‘KAREN’ REFUGEE FAMILY:
Jae & Julia have settled into living with the ‘Karen’ family who is
living in Faith Ref. Church’s parsonage. Bethany has not yet been
able to secure an apartment, due to the fact that a social security
number is needed and we don’t have one yet.

Meanwhile we can continue collecting household items for their
apartment. Please check the list in the narthex for items that we still
need for their apartment. Bring small items that you are donating to
the office across from the chapel, and we will contact you about
picking up large items of furniture.

Sign up in the narthex if you can help with cleaning & setting up the
apartment, or with transporting furniture……and what days & hours
you are available. Shari will call you when an apartment is found.

THE MOMENTUM LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE will be held at
FairHaven Ministries, 2900 Baldwin, Hudsonville on Saturday,

We Pray and Trust God

This week pray especially for the leaders of our church. Pray for
them by name and ask God’s blessings on their lives and work.

Church Plant Prayer Focus

Pray for God’s clear leading in this process.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

Please call the office if you would like to
share a Prayer Request or a Praise Report.

 We are thankful today for the gift of music.
 Pray today for Jae and Julia, as they get settled. Pray that their transition will go smooth and a permanent home will be secured for them very soon.
 We pray for Harvey Steensma now home after his 3rd round of chemo treatments.
 Remember those who have recently lost loved ones in your prayers. In particular today we pray for Jim & Linda Emelander and family and the Grimm family. We thank and praise you Jesus for the gift of eternal life for all believers.
 We remember in prayer the following family or friends of our members that are ill or receiving treatments: Amee Bekkering, daughter of Dick and Ruth Locke receiving treatments for cancer; Larry VerMerris, son of Ruth Vermerris diagnosed with pancreatic cancer; Linda Hoezee, daughter-in-law of Ann Hoezee who is undergoing chemotherapy
 Keep these friends and family serving in the military in your prayers: Amie Pierce, Doug Desmarais, Frank Senko, Dave
Vander Berg.
 Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs Margaret Peterson, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Anne Hoezee, Mrs Janet Yonkers

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write
them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed
of your prayer needs and praise reports!
