 WELCOME

A warm welcome to our visitors and members alike.  We rejoice at

the joy Christ brought to the world so long ago.  May such joy live

within us as we worship the Lord.  Please take a moment and sign

your name and address on the Fellowship Register as it is passed.

 

TODAY AT GRACE

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ will meet.  Today they will

 lead us during our Praise Time and sharing with us what they have

 been learning in their last rotation. 

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS will meet in the

 Consistory room following the morning service.  All are welcome!

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

 

SUNDAYS AT SIX –  Pastor Harvey Hertz will lead our service and

 share the message.  Our friends from Faith Reformed Church will

 join us here at Grace. 

 

6:00 PM Y-LIFE will meet at the Crossing for their annual Super Bowl

 party.  Be sure to bring your favorite all American snack to share…

 and bring a friend or two!

 You are invited to Newhall Reformed Church to join with their

 congregation for a Bible study on the Book of Acts.  Rev.

Prayers & Praise Line

February 7, 2016

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • Today we thank God for the people in our lives who have taught us about Jesus.  We are thankful for Christian parents and grandparents, our Pastors, Sunday School teachers, Youth Directors, Crossing leaders and volunteers, GEMS and Victor leaders and the many, many others who have influenced our journey.
  • We are thankful today for our Discovery Kidz!  We thank Heather Dood for all she does with the youth groups at Grace and the Crossing.  We pray for Heather as she continues her studies to become a Commissioned Pastor.
  • We thank God for the ministry of Connections.  We pray for Pastor George as he leads them each week.  We thank God for the lives that are touched by this ministry.
  • Continue to be in prayer for Sally Herrema as she heals and undergoes therapy.
  • Please keep Lucille Sytsema in your prayers.  We pray that the healing continues and surgery will not be necessary. 
  • Continue to remember Karen Ver Hulst in your prayers.
  • Thank you for remembering Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet, in your prayers. Please pray that she will develop, through the Holy Spirit, a positive attitude. 
  • Please remember Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer. 
  • Please continue to be in prayer for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey. 
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris, Mr. Jim Friar.
