TODAY AT GRACE
THIS MORNING IS YOUTH SUNDAY. A special thank you to all the
ELDERS INVITATION – If you have questions, concerns, joys, or
prayer needs that you would like to share, an Elder will be available
in the front of the sanctuary following the service this morning.
NO CHILDREN & WORSHIP will be held today.
11:20 – 12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL – There are classes available for all
ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.

HEALTH CONCERNS – Willie Hiemstra will undergo additional surgery
on Friday. See the Prayers & Praise Line for all prayer concerns &
OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to the family and friends of
Dorothy Church who passed away on Friday, January 31. Services
were held here on Monday, February 2 with Pastor Rick officiating.
THANK YOU to John De Jong for a great job teaching at Club 3:16, in
particular the lesson “Unseen Power”. ~Kia Delaney

A NEW MEMBERS CLASS will begin on March 1. This class will run for 6
weeks during the Sunday School hour. If you would like to learn
more about having a relationship with Jesus and His church or
would like to make Profession of Faith, this class will enable you, but
not obligate you to do so. Sign up in the narthex! See Shari Dood if
you have any questions.
COOKIES will be provided for you following the morning service for the
month of February! Donations will be accepted for the GRACE
MISSION TRIP to New Orleans in April!
THE GRACE BUILDING FUND DRIVE CONTINUES! You can put your gift
envelope in the offering plate or designate it on your budget
envelope. Our goal is to raise $120,000.00 towards this effort.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support!
THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of February is designated for Cran
Hill Ranch. This offering will be received February 22.
MISSION WORK PROJECT – For the week of April 19, Grace will be
sending a group of volunteers to the New Orleans Blitz Build! In
short, this is a 9 denominational effort to totally rehabilitate and
finish 12 homes that are still standing idle following Hurricane
Katrina and Rita in 2005. Funds are being supplied by each of these
9 denominations…in our case by the RCWS. We have already begun
projects to raise funds for this trip and others are in the making. This
is open to any adult in the congregation (limit of 15) so if you are
interested, please sign the sheet in the narthex to reserve your spot.
All the details are still being worked out, so talk to Shari if you have
any questions. Next weeks bulletin will contain a letter from the
Mission/Outreach team giving more details of the trip, including
housing, and fundraising details…the cost to each person will be
EQUIPING GOD’S PEOPLE FOR MINISTRY – The Synod of the Great Lakes
Diaconal Ministry Team invites you to attend this conference on
Saturday, February 28 from 7:45 am to 1:30 pm. Please come and
enjoy a half day of worship, workshops, and fellowship. TODAY IS
THE LAST DAY TO TURN YOUR FORM IN IF YOU WANT TO GO.
CROP FOR THE CURE – Friday, February 20 6pm – Midnight & Saturday
February 21 9am – 4pm. Tickets are $40.00 for both days, $20 for
Friday only and $30 for Saturday only. Ticket includes lunch,
breakfast, snacks, etc. The crop will be held a Beverly Reformed
church Connections Building, 2141 Porter, Wyoming. 100% of the
proceeds go to the Breast Cancer 3 day! See Christy Kleymeer if you
are interested in attending.
NEEDED – A Club 3:16 family is in need of a dresser or bed of any size.
Call the church office if you have something you can donate.
COLLECTION OF BOOKS – We have received a request from the Deacon
Center that Forgotten Man Ministries is in need of paperback
religious books focusing primarily on Christian living, marriage,
parenting, and self help. The jail library is normally stocked with
these books and they are distributed weekly throughout the facility by
Chaplains. If you have books that you have already read and would
like to donate to inmates in the Kent County Jail, please deposit them
in the box in the narthex. (This is a great way to clean out your
bookshelves and closets!)

• Matthew McGuire (Esther Hoag’s Grandson) who recently underwent
surgery after breaking his wrist
• Those who have recently been hospitalized or who are in various stages
