 TODAY AT GRACE

TODAY WE CELEBRATE THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S SUPPER. We
invite all those who are members of Christ’s Church and have found
forgiveness of sins in Him, to participate in this supper. If you are
aware of someone who is not here today, but would like to receive
this sacrament, please contact the church office. Thank You.

9:50 am – 11:15 am DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages 3 years –
5th Grade meet downstairs for your very own service.

S.O.S. SERVICE ON SUNDAY – This evening we welcome Krisine
Mc Guire who will speak on “Escaping the Cauldron”. Kristine
works with her husband, Thom, in ministry through Big Fish
Ministries. She is Certified as a Biblical Counselor, and training to be
a Marriage Mentor through the American Association of Christian
Counselors. In addition to writing articles for Kristine ReMixed
(www.kristinemcguire.com) where she averages over 2000 views
every month, and working on a book about her former experiences
with the occult; Kristine also writes a monthly "Life" column for
Positively Feminine. Kris will be sharing her testimony of how after
years as a Christian she got caught up in witchcraft and the occult
and how she has been set free by the power of Jesus name.


 PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS –Sheila Mc Elroy is home following surgery earlier
in the week. See the Prayers and Praise Line for all other prayer
requests and praise reports.

IN APPRECIATION – Thank you for your prayers, cards, and kind words

OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to Lucille Sytsema & Dan &
Martha Derogee upon the death of Lucille & Martha’s brother
Bernard Osenga at the age of 91. Services were held Friday at the
Rest Haven Home.

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

SAVE THE DATE JUNE 7-11… VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL!

CALLING ALL GRACE MEMBERS to an important meeting regarding VBS!!
This year VBS is going to be a step back to Marketplace 29 AD. Many
hands are needed to get this up and running. There will be plenty of
areas and an opportunity for all to help!! Please come to a
meeting on Feb 14th in the sanctuary following the
morning service. Have any questions? See Heather Dood.

Y-LIFE DATE CHANGE for January ONLY due to Mrs. Heather being out of
town. Our next meeting will be Jan 29th from 6:45pm-9pm.

DISCOVERY KIDZ are in need of donations for their Wednesday night
service project. They will be putting together breakfast bundles for
Kids Food Baskets of Grand Rapids. See list on the narthex if
you are able to donate. All donations need to be in the kitchen by
January 24th.

DISCOVER KIDZ “TOWER OF BABEL” ROTATION TRAINING!
All volunteers involved in the Tower of Babel Rotation (Feb. 7 –
March 7) plan on meeting for training on January 31st following the
morning service. All volunteers must attend. See Heather Dood if
you have any questions.

THE NEXT GALAXY will soon be published. If you have anything you
would like add please turn your articles in by Wednesday, January
13. You can give your articles to Pat Ter Beek or Sandy Gort, or place
them in the bin attached to the file cabinet in the main office.

THE ELIZABETH CIRCLE – Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, January
19 at 1:00 pm in the Consistory Room. We will discuss Acts 3 & 4.
(Week Three in the Study Book.) Use the study guide that has been
placed in your mailbox. All women are welcome!

SLEDDING! YOUNG & YOUNG AT HEART are invited to join the Discovery
Kidz for sledding Feb 6th 1-3pm. Questions see Heather Dood

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the Month of January is designated for the
CADET ORGANIZATION. This offering will be received on January 31st
which is Cadet Sunday. Our cadets and leaders will have a special
part of that service.

 We pray today for Betty Schuurmans, mother of Janet Groenhout.
Betty is 84 years old and is now under hospice care.
 Please pray for Connie Maile, sister of Jim Emelander, who is battling
cancer.
