TODAY AT GRACE

TODAY we rejoice as Eric & Erika Wigent present their infant

 daughter, Sadie Grace, for baptism.  The flowers on the piano are in

 honor of her baptism.

 

We also CELEBRATE THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S

 SUPPER.  We invite all those who are members of Christ’s Church

 and have found forgiveness of sins in Him, to participate in the

 supper.  A brief Communion Service will be held in the

 Chapel following the service for anyone who was not able

 to be present during the worship service.  If you are aware of

 someone who is not here today, but would like to receive this

 sacrament, please contact the church office.

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET.  All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS will meet in the

 Consistory Room following the morning service today.  This class

 covers various subject matter pertaining to our Christian walk. 

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE!

 6:00 PM FELLOWSHIP DINNER – On the Menu:  Pork BBQ.

 Come and enjoy a meal and fellowship prior to

 the nights activities.

 6:30 PM SENIOR CHOIR PRACTICE

 GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) for girls in

 grades K – 8th.

 7:00 PM – The Fellowship Team is inviting everyone to the

 Crossing to view the film, “GOD’S NOT DEAD”. 

 

NEXT SUNDAY, JANUARY 18, 2015

NEXT SUNDAY – Pastor Rick will continue the “Bible in a Year” series with the message: “NO ONE SAID IT WOULD BE EASY”.

 in the Consistory room.  We will discuss Chapter 10, Isaiah 36-37,

 in our study book.  All women are welcome!

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

COOKBOOKS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!!  Cost is $10 each, buy 5

 get one free!!  This is a fund raiser for our Discovery Kidz. 

 

NURSERY SCHEDULES – New schedules are being made for 2015!

 Linda Emelander will continue to head this up and we are so

 thankful!  Please sign up to volunteer.  If you already volunteer, there

 is no need to sign up again!  Thank you all very much!

Prayers & Praise Line

January 11, 2015

 

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God today for the baptism of Sadie Grace Wigent.  We pray for Eric & Erika and their family as they raise their family to love and serve God.
  • Pray this week for the leaders of our church.  Pray and ask God’s blessing on their lives and work.
  • We pray for our country.  We thank God that we live in a country where we can worship freely.
  • We ask God for safety as we travel this winter on slippery roads and in dangerous weather.
  • We pray for the families and children that come to The Crossing.  We pray for Heather as she leads them. 
  • Please pray for Pastor George and Connections. We thank God for the lives that are touched by this ministry.
  • We pray today for Lucille Sytsema as she continues the healing process and therapy following shoulder surgery.
  • Please continue to keep the Stuk grandbabies in your prayers.  They are all progressing nicely!  
  • Continue to keep Lola De Young and her parents, Matt & Lindsey, in your prayers. 
  • We pray for all those who are serving in the military.  In particular we pray today for Amie Pierce now back at Ft. Riley.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mr. Ralph Bolt, Mrs. Tena DeVink,
