Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God safety in the cold and dangerous winter weather that we have had.
  • Please keep the Dood and Schutter families in your prayers as Cindy Schutter’s (Heather & Don’s step mother) father passed away.  Also please keep the Walquist family (good friends of Jayme & Heather) in your prayers after the death (murder) of Brett during a robbery attempt while they were vacationing over Christmas break in Puerto Rico.
  • We pray Alpha Class beginning this week at Grace.  We pray for Rowin & Rachel Mulder as they lead this process; for Larry Kleymeer, the prayer coordinator, and Heather Dood, the food coordinator.  Please pray that people’s hearts will be open to our invitations.
  • There are many friends and family of our church members that need your prayers this week.  Please continue to pray for Jennifer Kirkse, granddaughter of Mary Huizen, as she battles cancer.  Also, Barb, friend of Della Sawyer, undergoing chemotherapy and Jon Stouten after being diagnosed with Crohns disease.
  • Please pray for Karen Roberts’ niece, Mary Milano (age 42), who is hospitalized at John Hopkins Hospital with extreme, consistent pain.
  • Continue to keep Tobiah Wiese, newborn grandson of Betty Holmes, in your prayers.
  • We continue to lift up Lola De Young and her family in our prayers.  Pray for healing, strength, and encouragement for Lola and Matt & Lindsey.
  • We pray for all those who are serving in the military.  Continue to keep Amie Pierce in your prayers as she is stationed at Fort Riley in Kansas.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mr. Ralph Bolt, Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Ruth Ver Merris.
