OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of January is designated for the
High School Retreat to GENESIS.  The theme this year is
“Connect 06”.  Our High Youth will be attending the March 3 – 5
session at Grand Traverse Resort.  This special offering will be
 received on Sunday, January 29.

NEEDED – HELPERS (2-3) HIGH SCHOOL AGE OR OVER to care for the
children of the Dood/Zondervan Purpose Group who will be meeting
once a month right after Sunday School for approximately 30-45
minutes.  If you would be willing to help out, please call Ray & Robin
Zondervan at 534-3079 or Rick & Laura Marshall at 364-3122.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED in joining a SUNDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY with
others at Grace, contact the office.  Many Purpose Groups are
continuing to meet, however, if you are not a part of one that is,
this is your opportunity to join a group!

LOOKING FOR ANOTHER GOOD BIBLE STUDY OPPORTUNITY?  Newhall
Church, 3746 Byron Center Rd., invites anyone from Grace to attend
Dr. Dan Kroeze’s “Overview of the New Testament” at 7:00 pm on
Wednesday evenings.  This is just one opportunity where our
Wyoming Reformed Churches are sharing in ministry together.  If
you have further questions, talk to Pastor Rick.

NEW PRAYER PARTNER LISTS will soon be available.  Prayer is the
heartbeat of the church!  When we pray for people personally, we
bring them right to the very heart of God.  If you have not been a part
of this program at Grace in the past, now is the time to sign up.  You
will be given a list of people to pray for each week.  Sign up in the
narthex.  If you have been a part of this in the past, there is no need
 to sign up again.

HELP!  Our local Faith Food Pantry is in need of help.  Due to increased
gas cost and lack of donation of food, their pantry is extremely low.
Following is a list of items they need the most:  crackers, box
potatoes, pork & beans, canned fruit, instant rice, Spaghetti o’s and
Ravioli, spaghetti sauce, Tuna Helper, jam/jelly, hand soap, toilet
paper.  Anything else (except vegetables-they have plenty)
 would be appreciated also.

NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE!  RCWS has given money to Habitat
for Humanity to build “houses in a box” here in GR for Hurricane
victims.  Volunteers will build 2 of these homes in a Steelcase
warehouse at 44th and Eastern.  Building will take place on Saturday,
February 4, 11, and 18 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and also Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday of these weeks.  You do not need to be a
skilled builder to help.  When these homes are complete, they will be
loaded on semi-trucks and shipped to Alabama and finished on site.
Please check your Galaxy for more details and sign up on the table in
the narthex.  Also, on February 4 & 11, we will be providing food for
the workers…if you would like to donate food, help prepare it, or
serve it, sign up on the sheet and you will be called.

THE PRAYER OF JABEZ video and study guide is missing!  Could you
possibly have borrowed it?  Please check through your books/videos
and give the office a call if you find it.  Thanks!
