TODAY AT GRACE

 

TODAY WE CELEBRATE THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S

 SUPPER. We invite all those who are members of Christ’s Church

 and have found forgiveness of sins in Him, to participate in this

 supper. A brief Communion Service will be held in the

 Chapel following the service for anyone who was not able

 to be present during the worship service. If you are aware of

 someone who is not here today, but would like to receive this

 sacrament, please contact the church office.

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the Sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George and the new church start. All are welcome.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in the

 Consistory Room following the morning service today.

 

6:45 pm Y-LIFE for students in Middle and High School. Meet at the

 Crossing.

OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to Geri Ruis upon

 the death of her brother-in-law, John Van Dyke, on Tuesday,

 January 10 at the age of 88. Services will be held tomorrow at First

 Jenison CRC.

 

IN APPRECIATION – I would like to thank all of you who

 remembered me with cards, letters, packages, prayers and other

 means of remembrance. It was very much appreciated. God bless

 Terri Stadt, Kaleb Crawford, and baptized granddaughter, Nevaeh

 Bosema was transferred to FairHaven Ministries of Hudsonville.

Church Plant Prayer Focus

 

Praise for the continued support of the people of Grace Reformed Church. 

Pray for the Crossing Community folks as we begin to fulfill our mission of

“Connecting people with God, each other, and our community.”

 

Congregational Prayers and Praise

Please call the office if you would like to

share a Prayer Request or a Praise Report.

 

  • We are so thankful today for God’s comfort in the midst of the storms of life.
  • We pray today for those who are grieving, in particular today we pray for Geri Ruis and family.
  • Please keep Curt Boes, former member of our congregation, in your prayers as waits for a heart transplant.
  • We remember in prayer the following family or friends of our members that are ill or receiving treatments: Dan De Vries, brother of Lisa Braendle; Norm Ver Merris,
  • brother of Shirley De Bruin and brother-in-law of Ruth Ver Merris. 
  • We pray for the final plans being made for the mission trip to Chiapas. May all plans and details come together smoothly.
