Prayers & Praise Line

January 19, 2014

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • Pray this week for the leaders of our church.  Pray and ask God’s blessing on their lives and work.
  • We pray for our country.  We thank God that we live in a country that we can worship freely.
  • Please be in prayer for the Alpha Classes taking place.  Pray for Rowin & Rachel Mulder as they take leadership; Larry Kleymeer, Prayer Coordinator; Heather Dood, Food Coordinator; Pat Ter Beek, Nursery Coordinator.  We pray that lives will be touched through this course.
  • We pray for safety and a time of refreshment for Pastor Rick and Donna as they are in Washington DC this weekend for the wedding of a nephew.
  • There are many friends and family of our church members that need your prayers this week.  Please continue to pray for Jennifer Kirkse, granddaughter of Mary Huizen, as she battles cancer.  Also, Barb, friend of Della Sawyer, undergoing chemotherapy, Tobiah Wiese, newborn grandson of Betty Holmes, and Jon Stouten after being diagnosed with Crohns disease.
  • We thank and praise God that there has been much improvement in Karen Roberts’ niece, Mary Milano.  She was able to go home last week. She is still quite weak.  Please pray for a renewal of strength.
  • We continue to lift up Lola De Young and her family in our prayers.  Pray for healing, strength, and encouragement for Lola and Matt & Lindsey.
  • We pray for all those who are serving in the military.  Continue to keep Amie Pierce in your prayers as she is stationed at Fort Riley in Kansas.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mr. Ralph Bolt, Mrs Tena DeVink,

Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Ruth Ver Merris.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praise reports.
