 TODAY AT GRACE

TODAY our Cadets and Leaders will share with us about the Cadet
program. THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of January is
designated for our CADET PROGRAM. Our new Cadet program has
grown to over 10 boys who attend regularly. This year the offering
will go directly to our Grace Cadet group to cover start up materials,
guidebooks, badges, shirts, and project materials.

CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 years meet in Room 1 in the Discovery
Kids hallway with Worship Leaders Lynda Ver Merris &
Elaine Martin Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir
room with Worship Leaders Heather Dood & Erika Wigent.

MCCOMB MISSIPPI WORK TRIP MEETING – Meet in Nikki’s office after
the morning service and we will begin talking about plans for the
trip! Turn in your completed forms at that meeting.

11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes available for
all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
Songs and Psalms – Brad Class will lead this group in the Chapel.
This week we will look at Psalm 2.

THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT - Join Pastor Vern Hettinga as he
 continues a study of the Spirit Fruit as found in Galatians
 5:22-23. Meet in the Consistory room.
IN DEPTH BIBLE STUDY – Meet in Pastor Rick’s office. We
 will explore “Ordinary Superheroes”. This a class for those
 who really want to dig in.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2007
9:00 – 11:00 AM THE ADIC at the Crossing. Join us for coffee,
donuts and fellowship! School supply give away today!
3:30 – 5:30 PM CLUB 3:16 FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
4:30 PM PRAYER MEETING in Pastor Rick’s office.
7:30 PM THESSALONIANS 1 BIBLE STUDY will meet at the Crossing.

 NEXT SUNDAY – FEBRUARY 4, 2007
 YOUTH SUNDAY

NEXT SUNDAY our Youth will lead our morning worship service. Join us
in the Chapel for SUNDAYS AT SIX. Pastor Rick will share the message.

6:00 PM COLLEGE & YOUNG ADULTS – You are invited to the Crossing
for a SUPERBOWL PARTY! Let Nikki know if you can attend! Call her

 PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS – Ann Rozema is expected to be back at Brookcrest
after being hospitalized earlier this week with pneumonia. Jan
VanWyk continues at the University of Michigan Hospital. Please
pray that she will soon be able to make the transfer to Grand Haven.
Baby Caleb Zondervan continues to improve. He has moved up to
the Intermediate Care section of the Neo Natal Unit at De Vos
Children’s Hospital. Pray that his feedings will continue to go well
and he will be able to go home soon. See the Prayers & Praise Line
for more Praise Reports and Prayer Concerns.

IN APPRECIATION – We would like to thank the congregation for their
prayers, thoughts, cards, and visits to the funeral home following
the death of our father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Also,
thank you to Pastor Rick for performing the funeral service. It’s
great to be part of the Grace family.

 Reformed Church Youth have challenged Keith Benthin of New Life
 Lakeshore Church and will play broomball at Griffs Ice House! Cost
 is $5 to play, $5 for pizza, and an optional $5 donation for the Alaska
 Challenge Trip. EVERYONE is welcome to come out and cheer!

CLUB 3:16 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!! Help is needed on Tuesday for
Middle School Youth and Thursday for Elementary Youth. Please
prayerfully consider serving in this way! See Nikki.

ELDERS & DEACONS or anyone in Leadership: If you want to attend the
RCA Workshop “Equipping God’s People for Ministry”, which is
being held February 24, get your form to Shari TODAY so they
can be sent together and receive the reduced rate.

A $20 BILL WAS FOUND in our parking lot last Sunday near the
handicapped area. If it’s yours, call the office.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OPPORTUNITY – On Saturday, February 10 and
17, the RCA invites you to help build 2 “Houses in a Box”. One is for
a home that will be built locally and the other is for a home that will
be shipped to the Gulf Coast. Exact details are not here yet, but if you
are interested, please contact Shari.
