A warm welcome to our visitors and members alike.  We rejoice at the

joy Christ brought to the world so long ago.  May such joy live within

us as we worship the Lord.  Please take a moment and sign your name

TODAY AT GRACE

 

TODAY we welcome Rev. George Grevenstuk to our pulpit.  We thank

 you for sharing with us this Lord’s day!

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ will meet.  All kids ages

 3 years – 5th grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of January is designated

 for FAMILY NETWORK OF WYOMING.  This special offering

 will be received this morning. 

 

Y-LIFE – Following the morning church service we will be heading out

 to lunch then ice skating.

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL class will meet in the Consistory

 Room following the morning worship service.  They cover various

 subject matter using the Sunday School Guide. 

 

SUNDAYS AT SIX – We will be meeting at Grace for our evening

 service tonight through the end of April.  Rev. Harvey Hertz will be 

 sharing the message “What About Noah ?”

 

PRAYERS AND PRAISE

 

HEALTH CONCERNS: Fred Hiemstra underwent surgery on

 Wednesday, January 25 in Arizona to have an IVD (pacemaker/

 defibrillator) implanted.  This was a change in the plan to have it

 done when they come home.  If you would like to send Fred a card,

 their Arizona address is: 12936 W. El Sueno Ct., Sun City West, AZ 

 85375. Continue to be in prayer for Geri Ruis who is at Sunset

 Assisted/Supportive Care, Room 120.  Mary Huizen continues at

 Butterworth Hospital.  Please keep her in your prayers.  For all other

 prayer requests and praise reports, please see the Prayer & Praise line

 today.

 evening classes!

 6:30 PM SENIOR CHOIR PRACTICE. 

 6:30 PM YOUTH practice with Ms. Lorinda for the Easter Musical

 “Crown Him With Many Crowns”. This will be a part of our year

 end celebration on March 29.

 6:45 – 8:00 PM GEMS, VICTORS, and BE BIG will meet.

 FORGIVING THOSE WHO HURT US – Class meets in

 the Consistory Room.  We will continue with our discussion on 

 Lewis Smedes' book "The Art of Forgiving - When You Need to

 Forgive and Don't Know How."  We would love to have you join

 us!  If you need a book or study guide, please let Lorinda know.

Prayers & Praise Line

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank God for the ministry of Connections.  We pray for Pastor George as he leads them each week.  We thank God for the lives that are touched by this ministry.
  • We give praise to God for our children.  We thank Heather Dood for all she does with the youth groups at Grace and the Crossing.  We pray for Heather as she continues her studies to become a Commissioned Pastor.
  • Continue to keep Geri Ruis and Mary Huizen in your prayers.
  • Lift Fred Hiemstra up in your prayers as he heals following heart surgery in Arizona. 
  • Be in prayer for Esther Hoag who continues to have problems with her fingers.  Also please pray for Esther’s sister who suffered a stroke and is now at Mary Free Bed Hospital.
  • Randy Veldheer, son of Marge, underwent outpatient surgery to have a stent put in his leg.  Please keep him in your prayers.
  • Please be in prayer for Char Otto.  Char has been experiencing very severe back pain and has also been passing out.  Please pray for answers and a relief from her pain.
  • Please pray for the grandson of Ron & Marcia Berends, former members of Grace.  Their Grandson, Brenym Pell, who is the son of Katie, was diagnosed on January 6 with Medulloblastoma, a cancerous tumor on the brain.  If you would like to follow his progress go to https://brenymstrong.wordpress.com/blog or Facebook Brenymstrong.
