be an important meeting regarding VBS!! This year VBS is going to be
a step back to Marketplace 29 AD. Many hands are needed to get this
up and running. There will be plenty of areas and an opportunity for
all to help!! Have any questions? See Heather Dood.

the Casting Crowns Concert. See Heather if you are planning on
going. This will be our meeting for February.

Sunday, February 28 BLANKET+ SUNDAY. Grace is joining other North &
South GR Classis Churches in an effort to “Blanket the World with
Love”. There are two parts to this project, one local and one global.
Blankets are only $5 each, so our special offering for February will go
toward this cause. Many of these blankets will go abroad, but 300 of
them will be given to local agencies and the homeless. See the last
issue of the Galaxy for more information.

** A BLANKET DELIVERY will be made on Friday,
February 19th. Thom is taking a group of us to Ideal Park to
bring blankets to the homeless in that area. We will leave at 6:30 pm.
If you are interested in being part of that group, please contact Shari or Thom.**

GRACE RESPONDS TO THE EARTHQUAKE IN HAITI

 Presently we have an offering scheduled for February 28 to help replenish
the supply of blankets the CWS and RCWS has on hand for disasters like the
one we just witnessed in Haiti.
 Our Easter Offering here at Grace will go to Reformed Church World Service,
which is our Reformed Church leg which gives money to disasters around the world…the initial
contribution was $10,000 and ‘we are confident that in the longer term, much more will be given’.

NEW THIS WEEK due to popular demand: MAKE A COMPLETE HYGIENE
OR BABY KIT before April 11. A description of the contents for these
kits is on the table in the narthex. The value of the kit is listed on the
form so if you cannot make one by yourself, combine resources with
a friend! We recently found out that several area churches are taking
part in this so the transportation is all arranged!

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY as a Census Worker. If you are interested
in a temporary job with pay ranging between $10.75 and $19.50 per
hour, pick up a pamphlet from the narthex table. Testing sessions for
employment will be held at Grace on Thursday, Feb. 4, 11, and 25 at
