ELDERS INVITATION – If you have questions, concerns, joys, or
prayer needs that you would like to share, an Elder will be available
in the front of the sanctuary following the service this morning.

9:50 am – 11:15 am DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages 3 years –
5th Grade meet downstairs for your very own service.

TODAY Pastor Rick begins a new series of messages “ROAD TO
RESOLUTION”. See the insert in today’s bulletin for details!

ORDINATION AND INSTALLATION of newly elected Consistory members
will be held during our morning service today.

For the Office of Elder: Dale Dood, Elaine Martin, Larry Palma
(Elaine Martin will be ordained as well as Installed)
For the Office of Deacon: Mike Tibbets

WE EXPRESS OUR DEEP APPRECIATION for the faithful service which has
been rendered by the consistory members who this morning
relinquish their responsibilities after completing their term of service:
John De Jong, Neal Klein, Larry Kleymeer, and Doug Grimm

NO EVENING SERVICE WILL BE HELD.

 PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS –Sally Herrema underwent outpatient surgery to
have her gallbladder removed on Tuesday, December 29. Sheila
Mc Elroy will undergo surgery on Wednesday at Spectrum
Downtown. She is expected to be there overnight. See the Prayers
and Praise Line for all other prayer requests and praise reports.

IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to the 18 persons who were able to help
with the Christmas Store at DeVos Children’s Hospital. Seventy one
children were able to choose gifts for their parents and siblings. The
hospital and the families served were very touched by the love
shown to them. ~Shari Dood

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

NURSERY SCHEDULES for 2010 are now being prepared. Help is
desperately needed. Please sign up on the sheet in the narthex if you
can help! If you are already on the schedule, there is no need to sign
up again. Thank you so much for caring for our children.

DISCOVERY KIDZ – THE NEXT ROTATION IS the Tower Of Babel, which
will take place Feb 7th- March 7th. Volunteers needed! Sign up on the
sheet in the narthex or see Heather Dood.

SOMETHING NEW IS COMING TO WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE!! Kids you are
not going to want to miss it!!

CADET LEADERS check mailboxes for January lesson plans and calendar
of events.

SAVE THE DATE JUNE 7-11… VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL. Please start
praying how God can use you for this event. More info to come
soon!! Have any questions? See Heather Dood.

CADETS that are signed up for the GRIFFINS GAME on the 16th please
meet at church at 6pm to ride together. Questions see Heather Dood
or a Cadet Leader.

Y-LIFE DATE CHANGE for January ONLY due to Mrs. Heather being out of

 Pray this week for Sheila Mc Elroy as she undergoes surgery on Wednesday.
 We pray today for Betty Schuurmans, mother of Janet Groenhout.
Betty is 84 years old and is now under hospice care.
 Please pray for Connie Maile, sister of Jim Emelander, who is battling
cancer.
 Keep these friends and family serving in the military in your prayers:
Doug Desmarais, Frank Senko, Matthew Halverson (Lucille Sytsema’s
