Prayers & Praise Line

January 5, 2014

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God for this past year of blessings, and a new year filled with fresh opportunities.
  • We thank our Consistory members who give of their time and talents here at Grace.
  • We pray for those who have recently lost loved ones.
  • We pray for the plans that are being made to host an Alpha Class here at Grace.  We pray for Rowin & Rachel Mulder as they lead this process; for Larry Kleymeer, the prayer coordinator, and Heather Dood, the food coordinator.  We pray God’s leading as we think of persons we can invite.  Please pray that people’s hearts will be open to our invitations.
  • There are many friends and family of our church members that need your prayers this week.  Please continue to pray for Jennifer Kirkse, granddaughter of Mary Huizen, as she battles cancer.  Also, Barb, friend of Della Sawyer, undergoing chemotherapy and Jon Stouten after being diagnosed with Crohns disease.
  • Continue to keep Tobiah Wiese, newborn grandson of Betty Holmes, in your prayers.
  • We continue to lift up Lola De Young and her family in our prayers.  Pray for healing, strength, and encouragement for Lola and Matt & Lindsey.
  • We pray for all those who are serving in the military.  Continue to keep Amie Pierce in your prayers as she is stationed at Fort Riley in Kansas.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mr. Ralph Bolt, Mrs Tena DeVink,

Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Ruth

Ver Merris.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praise reports.
